Well, I've noticed some play in my steering, and was wondering how do I check to see if it's the tie rod ends that are worn out? Also has anybody ever used the Tusk Honda style tie rods and ends?

most people run a 4 degree timing advance, and adding a billet impeller is a very good idea, i run one from chariot performance. make sure you do a leak down test after you get her all together

get a thumb throttle extender from cascade...

you have to also remember that if you get a bigger rad that the water flow will decrease but the coolant wont get as hot as quickly. so if your stock rad is not all bent to hell and its working right, its not a problem

did you do a leak down test? plug chop? if your still running a stock impelor i would strongly suggest getting a billet one from chariot, and silicone lines help alot too.

do you have a temp gauge to confirm that it really is running hot? or do you just think it is?

did you rejet the carb? what all did you do?

when i had a stock swing arm i had a tm designs slip over one like your talking about and i did not have to remove anything... are you sure this one says that its made for stock swingers?

did you take the old one off?

what do you mean? i have a mr gasket rad cap that tells the temp but it never goes above 140* so its not the true temp from right out of the head like this one is...

turn your idle up some, so it wont stall out when you put it in gear

So ive been searching on here lately about the ohtsu tires that came on the 250r and 400ex. Ive read that they wear out in coal slag (what my trails are made up of) and that they puncture easy. I was planning on picking up a set of these but i dont want them to wear out, or pop, i mainly ride in slag, farmers fields, grass, loose dirt, woods, and sometimes mud. do you guys think these well be the right tire for me? i usally run the kenda kutters on my quads, and they work great for me, but i dont like how they look on shees.
