  1. atf sinks too, and the smell just gets worst with time. i use golden spectro clucth saver. never had a prob in the last 6yrs.
  2. what is the diffence in the bowls? because i looked at mine today and they look exactly the same, i even put them on backwards and did not have this starting problem?
  3. Why not just buy the right wrench for $14?
  4. i would also get a -1 or -2 swing-arm.better for jumping and turning in tigh spots. and good in whoops.

  10. well when you buy somthing used you don't know how it been treated, if there are any stripped bolt or bolt holes, if any thing is bent even just a little. how its been ran, stored. your not paying for the banshee only your paying for peace of mind knowing its all new. plus no mismatching bolts. when i bought my banshee it had different size bolt on everything the kid before did, plus he didn't grease anything. i think 9500 is way to much, but it still wotrh about 5000. and what does it matter about if it comes with after market parts, i changed out almost every after market part that was on it anyways. only thing my bike has that it did when i bought it is the frame,plastics,carbs,cases, and eletical system.
  11. i was always told not to use starting fuild on a 2-stroke. because when it does fire it running on pure eitheir with no oil mixed in it . and if you do it to much or spray to much in you could burn up a piston ring or a bearing. second when useing strating fuild u spray it in the carb where the air filter connects, not in the spark plug hole.
  12. i would pay up to 5200, thats what they used to go for in the dealerships new.if you were lucky you could talk them down to 4600. thats what my brother paid out the door new. I would keep it in the crate till my son was older (4 last tuesday) and let him modd it and see what he comes up with. He already loves my banshee and tries to work on it with me.
  13. just buy the $14 motion pro wrench that is made for it. you can get one from rocky mountain, denis kirk, or any mac tool dealer. i got mine from a mac tool dealer that comes to my shop for $14 even. it has a 12mm on one side and a 14mm on the other and in the middle of the wrech a place for a 3/8 torque wrench.
  14. after failing a leak-down test. i found ripped intake boots. i bought the chariot billte intake with built in cross-over. put it togher and retested. Passed, and now it starts in a few kicks. Instead of the 30 mins of kicking it used to take. thanks for the help.
  15. damn. but from the looks of things i think your head was beat up from the crank failing not the head first. look like you melted a bearing and sucked it up in the rest of your motor. i bet some metal was in the pipe too. hopefully it didn't crack the cases at all.
  16. is the choke tube on that goes between the carbs.
  17. mine also cracked half way up.
  18. i have stockers on a set on T5's and they cracked on both pipes. i had to reweld them togher.
  19. ok i tried and tried to post pics but it keeps telling me different $hit cam i email somebody a pic of these bada$$ snow tires i made and post a pic for me. i know it's easy but for some reason it tells me it too big or there is no pic.
  20. well i did test leak down test today and failed bad. intake boots ripped where the "boost" bottle connects. have new intake from chariot on the way. tell if it fixes my prob when i install it on wed or thur.
  21. unless you are draggracing don't get a cub. either go with the serval or get it ported with a +4mill.
  22. i had a ticking to on the left side, does it go away when you rev the motor. if so my prob was the left head pipe had a weak sping and the exhasut was making a ticking sound. u can aslo try to hold pressure on the pipe when still cold and see if it stops. i held mine where the pipe meets the silcer and the noise went away. wotrh a try if you still have it togher.
  23. well the block off plate is for the rear E-brake, to take it off you have to put on a plate after. it on the rear caliper help on with two bolts. easy to do. and for the timing plate just have to put it on adjust , do a plugg chopp and thats it. as long as your plugs look good.
