  3. why is it the pussy why? it how i do my break in. i don't call your way the dumb-ass way do i. everybody was their own way of doing things.
  4. i never understood why either. i re-use them on cars all the time. but in my clymer and the first/last time i let a shop do my motor they replaced all of mine, and said i had to anytime they are removed. but if you guys are re-useing them hell so will i.
  5. nice write up. but i was always told that you have replace the snapp-rings once removed. and not to re-use them at all.

  7. 1. start let it warm up. then shut it off let cool. 2 start again let warm up, and ride around 1-3 gear not hitting the power band but not stay in one gear. do that for about 10-15 mins then let cool. 3 start again let warm up , and now ride in gears 4-6 hitting the power band for short moments and not stayong in one gear to long. do that for another 10-15min let cool. your motor is now broke in.
  8. r they junk, you can't get them bored with bigger pistons. might be cheaper.hjr seems to have some great deals. give them a call and see if they can fix your cyclinders for cheaper than buying new/used ones.
  9. i have a dirt digger HD clutch for 4 yrs now and still not showing much wear .
  10. do you have the tube that connects the carbs togher on?
  11. i have R/A shredders all around and like them alot for trail riding and the track when i get the chances. they go in sand but not the best. I also noticed that they wear a little fastter ,but that because their alos softer rubber.
  12. noones being an asshole, You asked we replied. If you don't like what people have to say or cain't take it then don't post. plus your on a banshee website talking about trading a okay banshee for a P.O.S dirtbike, and what we should all say yeah we would do it. NO its a bad trade and we are trying to tell you.
  13. go to cascadeinnovations.net they will have it for you.
  14. just trade and be done with this tread. personally i don't care i will still have my shee. and what work did you do to that banshee besides take stickers and a grill off. sorry but you aslo left to dumbest sticker on it. pressure washer will have every sticker off in seconds. no hard work their.your banshee looks like a stock banshee with no rad grill.
  15. you forgot a helmet .lol and goggles you have to goggles. but you are going to say some old sun glasses will be better and cheaper. what thats sayin "why buy gear just buy more beer".
  16. it is an 04 and no he don't beat the shit out of it but at the same time he don't ride like puss. and your on a banshee website its very unlikely anybody is going to say they would unless they were going to to. go to a dirt bike site and they will tell you to do it. and they would say get rid of the shee. i know because my freind started on quads, went to dirt bikes and now he doesn't like my sheee as i don't like his dirt bike.
  17. on the stock carb bowls their is one that has a little ball in the front of it. its for the choke . with your carb bowls on look at the side that goes into the intake boots. look down at the bowls one will have a hole with a ball in it. and that one goes on the left.
  18. i wouldn't do it. First a 250 four stoke is like owning a 125 2-stroke. Second my freind has a kfx250f andi rode that thing and it sucked. seemed like you sitt to high.power was nice for a four stroke. Third since he owed his bike he had to rebuild it 3 times more than i did my shee in the same time frame. plus i can split my own cases he has to have somebody do it or go buy the tool.here are some parts he had to replace , 3rd,4th gear, clutch basket, timing chain, timing chain slides, pitson, crank, rods, bearings, and last but not least valves. and thats another thing you have to adjust the valves ever soo often, and sure its not that hard. But if you do fuck it up say bye bye valves after that piston smashes into them.
  19. i have almost the same setup, but i have 19 domes and run race gas. my jetting is 30/pilot and 310/main in summer. i'm about 776ft. the hard starting could be from your carb bowls being on the wrong carb.the carb bowl with the little half ball on the outside goes on the left carb. aslo with that low of comp it time for a top-end. and if you say the walls look good you could just get away with pistons and rings.
  20. i belive pro's wear their gear on or off the track when riding, soo it doesn't matter how good you are.
  21. yeah and to check spark put your finger in the spark plug boot and kick very hard.
  22. till the gauge stops moving up.
  23. won't be your last. lol
  24. i have a pair of arc 240 boots, cheaper vision of a garde and sidi boots. they pivot at the ankle. I love these boot.
  25. the manual say 24:1, but i wouldn't run that. i run 32:1 but other on here run 40:1.
