  1. i have a +4 crank from them and like it. it has great power,i'm going on season 3 with it . I'm always in powerband when i ride and its holding up. Oh yeah and i ride at badlands. but i have stock carbs on mine. and even with stock carbs and porting it was a big jump in power from a stock storke crank.
  2. i would do it, not everybody feels the same about a banshee as we do. some people rather have a slower quad that don't need much attention.plus if it for his wife i can understand. at the same time don't think that you are going to get this badass banshee for the 300, because you said he has another one and more than likely all the goodies are on the one he rides.oh and if he trys to say it don't run good because of the carbs,then ask him to swap the carbs off his other bike just to test it out.i always her people on CL sayin 'it don't run good because the carbs need to be cleaned'

  4. did not try them out let ,but i have just got the pillow top grip from pro-taper. they seem to feel nice and soft, i'll try to re-post next time i ride.

  6. mine only squeaks if i don't ride it much, seems after about 5mins of riding it allways goes away.
  7. you can buy new rings only , and 93 should be fine.
  8. well i never tried it myslef but the ones i seen had frame mod done all over, plus gussets, it's not going to be easy so i hope u have time and don't rush it because you will be going really fast after your done it would suck for a weld or mount break as your hitting 100mph on that thing.i personally would just keep the banshee motor in it though.jmo
  9. i have almost the same set-up but i'm running 310 mains, at 32:1 , i heard more oil is not good,because the oil doesn't fully burn off the piston and keeps building up and not allowing the gas to cool down the top off the piston like it should.i have 19cc domes but i run a spacer plate, next year i want to port and have domes cut. 100race gas,v3 reeds, reed spacer,toomey2;1 with k&n filter, stock carbs,intake.with t5's, my plugs look perfect, and my banshee runs great.
  10. i have the ASV set-up for both brake and clutch and love them. i can adjust the lever reach, they bend backwards like a dirtdike and yes that is a life saver . i should have broke my levers 9times now but becasue they bend backwards they just snapp back when i flipp the banhsee back over.plus they look fxcking sweet on my bike.
  11. wiseco calls for .003 for every 1 inch in diameter. so if your jugs are 3in wide then you need .012 ring end gap.
  12. get a straight edge and go from one end of the jug to the other end on the other jug and make sure its flat.
  13. yeah why would you need a sled when you have a banshee. put some skis on it and let it rip. and steal wool no just buy pipe plugs. they r only 12 for two plus u can reuse them over n over till you lose them.plus they keep moisture out as well as mice and anything esle you can think of.
  14. no gas cap, well i would check the inside of the tank.
  15. also try to gearing it different. and instead of welding your stock crank go with a +4 and have the jugs ported to match with a coolhead a specail cut domes. and then hell yeah u should.

  17. yes casecadeinnovations.net they will have everything u need , they pretty much have every hard to find nut,bolt,gasket you could need
  18. if its really that important which it is not, just pick them up with your hands and then drain all the air a lift again. If you feel a diffence which you probally won't then you have your anwser.
  19. the tors is on top of the carbs and have eletric plugs going to them.they r for if the carbs slides get stuck open when you let of the thottle.it will shut the motor down, with out it it's up to you to do it. and when racing just hit that thottle and it will do the rest , with some good pipes u should be able to beat if not keep up with any 450r out their. avoid just pinning it or you will lose the race because you will spin them tires, ease it into the powerband once moving WOT. o- yeah hold on tigh it could get a little bumby.
  20. well i belive dot4 has a higher temp tolerance than dot 3 ,so if you use the hell out of your brakes they will heat up and the seals will suck air in.
  21. haha that would suck, my wife doesn't mind staying home and watching the kids if a trip to the badlands comes up and no babysitter , plus my daughter aslo rides she has a JR 50 and my son loves to get rides on the banshee. plus my son only being 3 wants a banshee.
  22. well first of all are u using dot 4? second try useing a vaccuum pump and try sucking the air out thuogh the bleeder. next try to close the bleeder and take the the cap off and the squeeze lever a few times and see if any bubbles come out .if all that don't work you might have to rebuild the front master cyclinder.

  24. ok i get the buddy thing ,but it is great when i take my wife out and she can beat some of them . plus some of them are slow and she wants to keep up with me so unlike my how do u say slow freinds oh yeah freinds that ride 4-stokes i mean 4-slows it's fun to see the look on their faces when she smokes them.
  25. i would get the same pistons you had in unless they r stock then yeah the weisco's.
