  1. just route it so it doesn't kink at all.
  2. i rather tie a rope around their ankles and drag them behide my banshee for awhile.
  3. wouldn't go that far to say they are garbage.look at the tdr crank it not even pressed togher right and i seen u-tube videos where hot-rod crank weren't even trued right, so with that being said i think it all depends on who put the crank togher in their shop, just because it says viteos on the box doesn't mean the same person built all of tehm and welded all of them.maybe i got lucky and had some how know what they are doing put mine togher. because i have nothing bad to say about viteos, plus they are nice over the phone and have no prob trying to help you.
  4. ok i was looking at a crank i got from viteo's and i see a groove where one o-ring could go but it's not there and i'm sure the second one that i got from them does have one either. so my ? is does it need to be there and what will happen if i don't have it? or are some made not to have one?
  5. yeah just run some water though the rad. you can mix some coolants but stuff like dex-cool can only be added to dex-cool unless you add one that says any make, model, and color, and yes they do make it because in my auto shop thats all we use.however u cann't add dex to green coolant.
  6. well if it feels like it running out of fuel then go bigger with the main jet
  7. i use auto coolant all the time with no problems. unless you want to run engine ice iwould run it and not worry about.
  8. yeah i know i have to do the leak down test . i plan on going to the hardware store today to buy everything i need to make one.i'm a dumbass though should have down one from the get go instead of riding it all summer. thanks for all the help.
  9. i ran 1 tank of gas though it on 91 ran fine, and the timing is stock.I don't think i did any harm to the motor because on that first tank of gas i really didn't get on it to much, second it runs pefect after it starts and doesn't give me any prob. i though i might be alittle lean on my pilot but wasn't sure. or even the main because i read most people running 340 330 jets with close to my set-up. i also have one of those boost bottle but i clamped mine on with rad clamps and i hear they ripp the intakes could this cause a hard start, i plan on buying one with a built in cross-over today from charoit. but why will it run fine after started?
  10. comp is 175-176 both cold. the spacer is under the cylinders. and after it starts it runs great, and won't give me a problem till the next day.i don't know the squish, not really sure how to do it. and i plan on doing a leak down test .
  11. yes get a round house swing arm . with twin bearing carrier.
  12. ok well since i went with a +4 my banshee is hard to start always takes about 20 kick in the summer to start. befor the crank it would start 1 maybe 2 kicks. so my ? is because i strokeed it should i have to rejet it? i am useing a spacer plate and went from 22cc domes to 19cc domes and instead of running 91 i started to run 100 at 32:1.stock carbsand toomey 2into 1 air filter with k/n. my jetting now is needle 1 down, pilot -30, main-300,air srcew 1.5 turns out. is that ok for summer? say 80 degrees. oh yeah i'm about 750ft and stock timing. and one ? do i need to change my pilot air jet or should that be stock 160? and yes i know about the spacer plate but right now it all i could afford.
  13. i have a -2 round house from the swing-arm shop. great arm.i beat the hell out of it to. fast and nice guy to deal with.
  14. what's wrong with the v-force reeds. i like them over the stock ones.i have V3. jmo
  15. well this was about 2 yrs ago maybe they fixed whatever was the problem was.
  16. when i bought my banshee it came with two of them in a box of parts on the side.my freind told me (the one i bought it from) that the fist one he got was machined wrong and the second one was good, i installed both of them and neither would hold coolant under pressure.i bought a cool head and problem solved.
  17. i made my own snow-tracks. i took an old zrt 600 and took the track off of it and since it was already picked two birds one stone. then i wrapped them around a set of old tires and rims i had. and i can drive on anything pavement (but damn it fXcks up the ground b/c of pickes) deep soft snow ,hard packed is the best. and with a set of skis it really can do anything a snowmobile can. i'll try to post pics of them later.
  18. i had the same thing happen to me, if u got it out half way then cut the bolt side that is hanging out closest to the frame as you can then after you have the bolt cut then hit it back into the swingarm the other way and you won't fxck up your swingarm at all. when it all done you will need a new bolt tube and bearing ebay sells the whole for under $100 i think.
  19. the cub is for drag racing more. i would go with a +4 crank have the stock jugs ported and run a coolhead with cut domes. perfect for trail riding and raceing. good power in the dunes too.then gear it to your liking
  20. look at some of yamaha'a older streetbikes i belive in the 80's some had the rz350 and 400 motors in them hich is a banshee motor. you could get pipe idea from them.
  21. thank for the info
  22. 741ft above sea leveland the spacer plate came with my crank when i bought it. but i think vitoes will sell the plates by them selfs.
  23. viteosraceing.com will sell the plate you need
  24. well i am running a spacer plate under my jugs with no porting and 19 cc domes and i'm at 175psi and run 100 race gas stock timing .and it runs perfect.
