Well cosidering that a two stroke would run with no pipe , I doubt that a little hole would be your problem. You need to dig deeper.

How much fun does it take to wear out a 4mil? Is it better smilage than a stock stroke?

If I were a banshee and had to push a portapotty I'd act up too!!! Pull air boots and visually confirm that slides are BOTH fully closing. Check caps ontop of carbs, tite, also visually check carb boots.

Think of chamfering as a slight taper from the port into the cylinder to gently ease the rings back into the cylinder after they pop into port. You can get specifics on angle from Gorden Jennings Two Stroke Tuners Handbook or on the blaster forum there is a link to McDizzy that might show it.

Didn't get many good tips when I asked same question months ago. I used Super Clean and Scotch Brite pad. Might also try cleaner for non polished aluminum wheels.

With all you went through get it running over the last couple months I'd think selling it would be the last thing you would do. You have a quad with a fresh top end, plus what else youv'e done to it. Keep what you have and modd it. You'll lose your'e a$$ if you sell it now.

Do leak down test first. Is coolant level low compared to when you first got it running? Is oil level still correct? Might look for air bubbles in oil and coolant while doing test. Unless coolant is leaking fast enough to drown plug it will vaporize from combustion.Should have done re-tourqe after heat cycles.
