Is anyone aware of defective/porous castings on transfercase?? Rear half is leaking wher there is no gasket, bolt, or seal. WTF? 1998 2500 Suburban, BB,auto, 4wd.

Check that you have good spark from both wires, plug caps might be bad.

Where would a person get cones to make a pipe, not necessarily for a 'Shee ? Got some from Aircone in Az few years back, but cant find anything on Google.

I think what Pasi is trying to say is that the rubber is soft and the studs might ( will ) pull out easy. Mabye put a couple studs in, go pull a holeshot , check for stud loss/ damage. Then judge for yourself. BTW, check out the ice races tomorrow on White Lake if your close.

July 2006 4 wheel ATV Action magazine had picture spread of ALL Banshees produced , none had white rad cover.

Might either have warped head or you installed head gasket wrong , they are merked for which side is up .Make sure head and cyls are clean .

My son's 'Shee didn't hit on both cyl all the time when he bought it. Pulled flywheel, cleaned rust off stator, cleaned inside of flywheel, cleaned rust off tabs for pick-up coil on outside of flywheel, BAMM, good as gold ! X-2 on plug caps And pick-up coil gap . Might as well clean your carbs and check for junk in the trunck, I mean tank (lol).

Sure the clip isn't on the inside of the chain?

Might want to drain gas tank and take a peek inside for dirt, unless you have a filter.

Do a compression test, that will tell you.

If that thing wasn't used as a boat anchor, it should be !! My guess is that it would cost more to rehab than to get a new one.

Banshee hubs fit Blaster axle ,vice versus. Blaster has different bolt patern. Don't know if Banshee ever had different patterns.
