  1. Removing tors wont improve performance, but will improve reliability.
  2. Check pickup gap to flywheel, .015 - .020 , also clean lugs for pick-up on flywheel. Check wire conections for corrosion and tightness. Check ground at coil, might be bad plug caps.
  3. X-2 on that. Great info on that site. They als use R-1 and R-6 rear brakes. Mad fab skills on there.
  4. Now that's what I'm talking about !! Beats the hell out of an alum can, screen , and stamp for $80 .
  5. SORRY I'M sofa we todd did.
  6. Try swapping plug wires see if trouble follows. Check gap on pick-up at flywheel, maybe clean lugs on flyweel. X-2 on new plugs . See if trans oil is good , might have bad seal sucking oil.

  10. The CSI in me says that you have two jets made at two different times or on two different machines. Funtionally the same because flow is determined by the size of hole in the jet .
  11. Check with All Balls
  12. Well, you got me thinking. Found add on CL going to call. When you're choices are either shocks that could be 20yrs old or Big $$$ aftermarket , it's time to think outside of the box.
  13. I'm still waiting for a "professional" to admit to how many jugs they wacked before they became "Pros"
  14. Well ....................... I'm waiting , lol.
  15. Now I'll have to figure out if it's a good deal or just look for better set. Thanks Alf
  16. Thanks for the reply. Never enough time to look for things you know.Doesn't know brand so I hae no way knowing if even available. A deal isn't always a deal, lol.
  17. OOPS !! How did I do that ? I'm sofaking we todd did , lol
  18. First the Spelling Police, Now the Grammer Gestopo, what's next? As an AMERICAN , I choose to talk however I F-en feel like. I'm just glad Duelstroke is on the way to getting this settled. Glad his Granny didn't die or Duel wouldn't be getting anywhere.

  20. Start by pulling the clutch cover and looking for anything astray. Snap ring for kicker idler gear, etc. Also check stator cover area, loose flywheel, backed out screw on stator.
  21. Prepare to be flamed!! Persoally I think if you have the skills, time , tools, and parts cheep enough, why not. I built a drag bike with an Artic Cat 550, trying to figure a way to use yfz balljoint to fix J-arms. $20 joint beats a $200 arm. If you want to see mad fab skills , check out a blaster forum. Your results may vary.
  22. More info, what exactly did you do? Thanks.
  23. I belive Clymers manual calls for .018. My sons shee had mifire on left side , pulled flywheel, cleaned stator poles, inside of wheel, lugs on outside ,set gap, bamm good to go. Also swap plug wires to rule out bad plug boot.
  24. You need to read like an engineer , to think like one , to design like one . I have read it several times and still only understand 50%. Still more informative than Bell.
