  1. been in the upper fortys the last two days an finally all that white shit in the yard is GONE wooohooo

  2. your shee is looking SWEET i would have to agree on the gun metal gray for the swing arm an a-arms maybe even the motor would look awesome gunmetal gray aswell.
  3. thats not to bad a job to do just make sure you get all the jets really clean or replace them it will take care of the poppin, or atleast it did on mine. good luck
  4. mine did that to, after i take the carbs apart an cleaned them now she starts on the first kick. my pilot jet was gummed up pretty good on the left side an thats the one that was poppin its a good idea to get the TORS elm. kit though. if it starts with starting fluid then your not getting gas to the pistons.
  5. hey man i had the same problem with mine turned out to be the float was stuck try opening the drain on the bottom of the carbs and see if your getting gas with your tank valve on off after its emptyed out turn the valve back on an see if you get fuel. if theres fuel unplug the little black box at the bottom left on the radiator an see if it will start if so its your tors, buy the kit to get rid of them there on ebay for 38 buck shipped.
  6. ok here she is all done just have one more thing to do an i need your help i can decide wether to put the sticker on the grill shell or not i like it without it but what do you guys think.
  7. ok heres some more pics of the shee its getting really close to being done just waiting on tors elm. kit an the stickers should have everything by wed. then ill post the final pics.
  8. looks like a good deal to me. goodluck man, keep us updated
  9. i just got done repainting mine an i took it all down to bare metal, thats the only way your gonna get the best look. as far as lasting i can only tell you from my expierence that powder coat is stronger but it still comes off. check out my thread titled NEW PAINT, i have a blasting cabinet and a portable blaster that i did the frame with. i only spend 60 bucks in paint. im not done withn the bike yet so i havent ridin it yet. but for 60 bucks an some time i wouldnt mind doing it every year, gives me somthing to do in the fall and i get a chance to completely check every part of the bike for things that are broken or wore out.
  10. really! i honeastly thought about painting the frame anodized purple and getting white plastics an new stock special edition graphics for it. them a buddy of mine an me where looking on ebay for stuff for the shee and found a kickass set of amr graphics for it that go with the shull theme i have going on it. an the rest is history, i will add new pics as i get more stuff added to it. but thanks man for the compliements
  11. i hear yeah its around 12 here an 10 inches of snow.
  12. sounds like a plan wvbanshee, just remember to much clear will chip easy also but you should be good with 4 coats
  13. hey thanks man, but would you belive it the KRYLON touch!!!!!!! just did alot of prep work on it and the cleared the hell outta it to protect it from the dirt and rocks.
  14. i think im gonna go with the black on the motor. i have painted the grill shell to match the frame so i think with the motor back it will even it out heres a sneek peek with the rear fenders just sitting on it. waiting to get parts for the motor and rear brakes an shees done.
