  1. BTW, it definatly is not perfect by far. Had a ball joint go, swing arm brgs shot, no biggy, repair/maintenance. Plus only paid $1100.
  2. It's relative to maintenance, tuning, and power out put. A top fuel rail/funnycar only runs 4seconds (+ burn out) and they tear it down. My son's shee is an 87, first overbore and different crank (4mil) still had stock pipes. Imagine the stories it could tell after 23 yrs of use and abuse !! Does anbody think a 07 YFZ will be around in 2030?
  3. Originally in general discussion, that's why, lol
  4. Welcome to BHQ !! Some guys and gals have some pretty wild set-up on here.
  5. I don't think I'd pay a penney more than $2499.99 myself, LOL . Was that thing even ridden? Honestly you got a nice machine there !!!
  6. Check the for sale, was a black billet one recently
  7. Now that's what I'm talking about !!!!
  8. Use some PB Blaster or other penetrating oil on it, let it sit as long as possible. Propane torch for heat. Just don't go ape $hit with the force or heat, you'll have more problems than you started with. IMO , your results may vary.
  9. Thanks, not close enough to make offer. Start out at what you would like to get and be willing to negotiate. Or replace arm and at least get what you paid for it .jmo, your results may vary !!
  10. where you located?
  11. Either gutsy or stupid . You would think someone would have wondered why someone was taking stuff quickly out of one truck and putting it in another.
  12. Could something jijled loose on the trip to the riding spot? Double check grounds and tightness of mounting bolts
  13. I don't understand why ATV ASSFAULT is sticking up for sproket specialties. What, is he sucking DEE DEE's puzz ? Why should he give a flipp in hell? Why would they sell a product that doesn't fit "AS STATED" I mean the banshee's ONLY been around for 23 yrs, virtually unchanged (somewhat unfortunately) you think they could have it figured out by now. It would be different if Loco was told up front that some modification was needed.
  14. Do you hear that sound ?? That's a money loss meter in overdrive !! E-mail them a link to this thread, that might change their tune.
  15. HMMMMMMMMMMMM, so if your builder doesn't know and can't figure it out ..............
  16. I could be wrong, but I thought terminal velocity was only 127 mph. Gravity only sucks just so much.
  17. Welcome to BHQ. Watch out for Savage, he'll probably give you a good answer , lol .
  18. Those are them Matt !! Changing from stock pipes 06Special. The weight savings alone is worth one horse LOL. Now I'll just do a little search to get idea where to start on jetting. Reason I said cheap cause I got pipes , silencers , seat, al. bumper , rear fenders, 5gal tank, and foot pegs for $130 !! Thank you both for your reply !!
  19. Got a set of "new" to me FMF gold signature series pipes (real cheap) , that's what P.O. said they were , that's what's stamped on them. 1 , any idea what type of power these make? 2 jetting requirements as far as simular set up comparedwith like fatties or gnarley? 4mil , NO porting , K&N,lid on. Thanks.
  20. Good call sheefreak !! Residual oil build up in the pipe hasn't burned off.
  21. My son's Banshee has a 4mil stroker with no porting but has a 2mil solid copper head "gasket" and stock everything else and it runs. He bought it this way a year ago. I wouldn't have known this if he hadn't flipped it into a deep mud hole. I know this isn't the most powerfull setup, but it's what he has for now. If all you needed and could afford was a crank , you "could" use a 4mil and then port it at a later date. Plus you maybe could have domes cut for your head or maybe recut existing for the stroker and not have to re-do later. JMO , your results may vary.
  22. The also have formed hose red and blue , preformed. 36$
  23. Don't know about JB , look in for sale section for another one. By the time you buy wire and gas or take it to a welder you could buy one for less. JMO.
  24. Don't know exactly what mod you did to air box , but Iwas going to suggest that and or new air filter, you will have to rejet any time you increase air flow.
  25. Seal would have to be totally gone for oil to pour into engine , oil gets sucked in during engine operation. There's a sticky at top of repair/mod section on how to build tester ,or try Harbor Freight. Test involves pressurizing engine to six pounds., If it holds pressure for six minutes it's good. If its leaking on clutch side you might be able to hear it.
