  3. hey fastbanshee8 i pulled the plugs and they are dark. more so the left than the right. u think thats a lean condition? just asking
  4. my banshee is shooting flames out of the left side only. it has no power after half throttle and runs like complete shit.sputtering and spitting. this just happened out of the blue. hard to start as well. the compression seems a lil low but what would cause the flames out of the exhaust on the left side only??? any feedback greatly appreciated! thanks Gurnzz
  5. haha thanks for the feedback guys. hey firebanshee i think u convinced me to try it, ive have no prob tearing down the bike if i f em up.ive got an extra set too so i think im gonna give it a shot. why not.lol. il let you know how ii make out. Gurnzz
  6. yeah i kinda figured that myself too. lol. i have a friend that owns a machine so i may have him take a look at them. he can prolly give me a hand. if i thro with it ill post some before/after pics. thanks for the response. Gurnzz
  7. hey i was just curious if any one on here has tried to port their own cylinders? if so how did it go? i was considering trying it myself. if anyone has any feed back shoot it my way. thanks Gurnzz
  8. yeah thats what i figured too. i already have the lid off with a k+n so i guess ill save the pods for when we head back to the sand dunes. thanks for the feedback ! Gurnzz
  9. i was considering getting a set of k+n pods for my shee but a lil hesitant only cuz where i usually seem to ride i encounter decent amounts of mud and water from time to time. will these conditions be a problem with the pods? it seems like the outerwears will deflect some of the water but not really too sure. any feedback greatly appreciated! Thanks Gurnzz
  10. hey fastbanshee8, i was looking into the pods for my shee but a lil hesitant cuz i sometimes have to go thro some water and decent amounts of mud where i typically seem to ride. what are your feeling on k+n pods in those situations??? thanks Gurnzz
  11. yeah def not running 0 degree temps here. its about 65-85 where i live now. ill try the 300 when i get to virginia and tune from there. thanks for your input GrMeyer! much appreciated. Gurnzz
  12. i have 330's in now cuz where i live is at sea level but when i head to virginia ill start with a 310-300 and go from there.ur prolly right on the 290 tho, i was kinda thinking in that range too. thanks for the feedback 06specialedition!
  13. i wouldnt even ask this but i tried to go on loco's jet finder post but it wouldnt connnect for some reason. im heading to hatfield McCoy at the end of the month. the elevation varies between 800-1800 so i should prolly jet for the higher elevation. correct? heres what shee has done. wiseco superstock pistons +.040,noss head with 20cc domes, billet waterpump impeller, adjustable timing plate+ 4 degrees, tors eliminated,330 mains currently but i live close to sea level, w/27.5 pilots, carbon fiber reeds,k+n w/no lid or snorkle, fmf fatties w/turbinecore 2 silencers boost bottle...anyone have an idea what size jet i should run for the main at that elevation??? feed back much appreciated! thanks, Gurnzz
  14. hey bansheesandrider, i did what you explained as far as the milling of the angle and the +1/8 in when i originally installed the idle screws like a year ago.. ill check the synch of the slides and the adjustments and if need be clean the carbs too.also i will check the floats. is there something noticable to determine which float is left or right?thanks again. Gurnzz
  15. hey AKheathen yeah it dies instantly once i let go of the throttle.i set the pick up gap setting when i installed the timing advance plate like a year ago and it was right then. ill re-check it tho. do you know the spec for that off the top of your head? ill pull the plugs to and check those. Thanks, Gurnzz
