  1. Hey , at least we're in the majority !!
  2. What we have here is failure to communicate !! Best advice for you right now is to get a repair manual !!! Either a Clymers or Haynes (?) Jets are little brass orfices in the carburators with a teeny-tiny hole that meters fuel flow at wide open throttle. Go to Jetting and exhaust forum and read thread about jetting. Search forums for info, you will learn alot just by reading . BTW , change your plugs first !!
  3. X-3 on what they said. How are your plugs and air filter ? If you ride it again try pulling choke when you hit the bog. If bogs worse you're probably rich ,if it gets better your lean. Have you cleaned carbs lately? Good fuel flow from petcock? Cleaned that lately?
  4. Is your coolant still full ? Have you checked the oil level, what did it look like? Could have waterpump problems, water would displace oil and damage trans. Pulling clutch cover is good place to start because most components of your symtoms are right there. Good luck and post what you find , lot of us are still learning. BTW , are you in Peru?

Shit, haven't heard of them refered to as fags for 40+ years. You don't want to smoke a "FAG" on this side of the pond. What the hell do you call queers ,homosexuals , and lesbiens in Brittan?
  6. but the funds for the shee had to go to the 4poker i got, damn thing is giving me all sorts of issues. Fuck that 4 poke, lol .
  7. That or filled it at the great salt lake.
  8. Clean the carbs, check plugs, clean air filter. Still have tors? Use fresh gas, all the good shit has probably evporated off.!
  9. Just swap the jugs, less work , no problems.
  10. Welcome to BHQ !! Took you a year to say something ? WTF? Just kidding. How about a brief description of what you did.
  11. The more knowledgeable ones will also want to know elevation and maybe temp.
  12. Slo , how about you get two sets of carbs and do a butt dyno comparison and report back. Remember that sceintifically you only change one thing at a time, ie, you cant put v-3 on stock and stock on 35's. A good example of all of this is the old spread bore carbs, small primaries HUGE secondaries.
  13. Plastic renew is nothing more than floor wax, WAY not worth the money I spent on it .
  14. Pull clutch cover and see if kicker idler gear is fubar.
  15. The chain adjustment thing is a joke/topic going around the site right now. Check it out, wasn't ment as a slam to you at all.
  16. Haven't really seen any negitive talk about site sponsers. Alf44 is working hard to get what people need at good prices. DO NOT use that 80-90 gear oil in your transmission. Way to thick and you might eff it up. Probably shift hard and might burn clutch up. Might do some hard thinking about even keeping the Banshee from the litttle bit I've read in your posting. Almost like a U.A.W. worker driving a Hundia , Ford lover in a Chevey , oil and water. JMHO , your results may vary. BTW , don't matter 2 or 4 stroke, parts aren't cheap, go fast parts are even more.
  17. Welcome to the HQ. Pretty simple on carbs, or get a manual. Might do a serch for more info. Clean your carbs and set float height, might need new float needles. If you need a step by step ,PM me and I'll copy it from manual.
  18. Are you on Chcago Crack? Changing plug wires wouldn't change which cyl fires first. Unless you had real weak cyl you only have 50% chance that it would start on same cyl next time started.
  19. Lots of good deals ,hit up site sponsers , or whoever. You tell them what you have and they'll set you up. Just be sure you use someone that is familular with 2 strokes.
  20. Snake oil. Simple function , simple device . If there were a better way the auto companies and pro racers (ie John Force) would be using them. Biggest thing is to use proper heat range and size/length.
  21. Are your new wheels a different offset? More? Check all tie rod ends, ball joints, steering stem for wear and nut tighness.
  22. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-YFM350-BANSHEE-TOP-END-KIT-CYLINDER-BORING-/320539852991?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4aa1aa00bf . Decent deal right here. Have dealt with Mike on several different bikes. Lakes Motorsports , Waterford ,Mich
  23. You need to mic cylinders to measure out of round and taper. Skirt probably broke from piston slap . IMO, tolerances would have to be less than half before I'd just put new slugs in. The biggest cost will be pistons, gaskets , bout 3-350. Cyl bore maybe 100. You might also have to split cases to remove all debrei , if you do use new crank seals, 20. JMHO, your results may vary. Btw, piston oversizes are in .010 increments, unless you have bad gouges, you should be able to go .030 oversize, still leaves you five more overbore sizes to go.
  24. I would suggest billit timing plate from site sponser. Then you can go +4* and gain couple ponies right there, gotta buy one anyways. Also get Clymers manual, bouy $30. Do search for tors, you can either eliminate (cut wires) or comepletly remove (little more work involved) Lotta peeps here to help you. You'll even learn how to adjust your chain, LOL .
  25. Using the correct puller, remove flywheel.Inspect for loose magnets, clean inside. Clean any rust off poles on stator and "lugs" on outside of flywheel . Inspect stator closely for any bad insulation. Inspect ALL conections and wireing. Check screws for timing plate. Check all grounds.
