Hey guys!! this winter i'll be doing my first rebuild. i was just wondering what are the best pistons and rings? i know wescio are nice and cheep but i herd those are kinda unreliable. i ride dunes and trails,, i dont have any mods to the motor, no pipes, but i'm looking at putting a set of FMF's on it.. thanks guys, love the forums keep them coming!! bryan

But see my kickstarter was up in position. it just wouldnt move down like when you go to start it. i tried as hard as i wanted to, i didnt wanna break anything but like i said we rock the bike back and forth then it broke free and it started working fine again.

how would i go about fixing that? what souls i replace? the bushing u said was bad will that solve it.

ok guys i need some major help!! this past weekend i was riding trails, and when i stopped, i went to kick my bike to go riding again the kick starter got jammed. so we went to tow it and i could get it into nuteral but the started was still jammed. we made it back and put it gear and started rocking it and it broke free! i asking u guys, what would cause that? is this an early sign of trans. problems? or was it jus one of those this that happen. my bike is a 2001 all stock.

hey guys, i live on a apple farm in MI, and i ride in orchards and corn fields. i now have scratches all on my back plastic. i was wondering if you can wet sand them out? to make them look like new, or just sand them with fine sand paper? i'm not sure what to do, thanks guys.

I was watching you tube videos on banshee's, and i watched this 2009 banshee. So i did some looking around and yamaha sells them in mexico for 94,000 pecos. thats about $7,700 us dollars. where i'm going with this is why did they stop making them in the US?

man that sucks big time. but what did you think was going to happen when he never road one before and at least he is paying for everthing. but you do have a right to be pissed

hey guys love the fourm, learning tons, i just got my first banshee, its all stock, i got alot of plans for it but not the cash flow... i'm planning on doing the +4 timing and was thinking about a coolhaed with 20cc domes, i ride on my farm, trails alot and in the dunes now and then. i really want t-5's but just cant drop the money right now. would it do anything if i buy the sliencers now, and buy the pipes later? i really want the sound. but i think i might just wait till the summer when i get working again. thanks guys
