  1. I am not to interested in going fast as much as I am in going and making it back to camp. I am taking the Banshee out to the off road park again tomorrow. Who knows maybe it will grow on me. ALF44 I looked at your site but saw no list to peruse, Should I just message you with what I need then await a quote?
  2. Can I trust you? LOL Thats like asking Santa if he likes cookies lol
  3. As I said I am not worried about paying for good parts. I am worried about paying for over priced parts thought.
  4. Not to bite the hands that feed me so to speak I would love to use site sponsors, after all that why they are sponsors but the last place I did that for my pocket bike really screwed me. After complaints to the FTC, AG and a local police report they finally sent me the parts. Thats why I asked. I want to use one that has a track record for being honest. I am not worried about or plan on pinching pennies. I just dont want to use a place that charges 8 times more than everyone ells for the same parts. I will go out and get a manual, that's a good idea. Ujtill then I wander if the plain old 8090 gear oil I use in my truck will suffice. Now the big no no question. If I went out to buy a quad no way would it be a 2 stroke. My last one was a 4 stroke and I loved it. This want I just happen to aquier in a triad. The fastest I have gone thus far is about half throttle in 3rd gear but mostly low throttle in 2nd gear. You dont think this would cause excessive heat or any other problems with the motor? I absolutely love the thing but worry about it being a money pit from the repairs because of how I ride. Thanks a million for the help.
  5. I have a few questions for you experts. 1- Is there a good place online for OEM as well as aftermarket parts? I'm looking for somewhere with decent prices and a good honest reputation 2- Can any give me info on transmition maintenance? Like what to put in it so on and so forth, I didn't see this info in the technical section 3- Ok you guys will hate me for this one but any info on 4 stroke conversions. I am use to 4 strokes and not sold on the 2 strokes yet. I like to put around more than anything and am afraid I will just burn up the motor riding the way I like to. Thanks for the help.
  6. Ok so I read 2 pages then figured it was all the same and skipped to the 5th. I had a coworker once who got away from the cops on a riding lawn mower, Clearly he was full of it. Did anyone think this kid is just talking shit? I have never ever heard of a cop letting you go after running from him. What county was this? I would like to move there where they have such cool cops that look a blind eye to felony's. Anyway I agree haul it where it belongs or get rid of it. I haul mine an hour to the local off road park and am very happy to have such an awesome place to ride. I could take it to the public park across the street from my house but I dont, know why? Because its not legal lol. I got caught one time on an unregistered Duel Sport with a baseball hat on in California. Lucky for me I was about 500' from my property and the sheriff said "get off and walk it home" I am actually glad to see so many people standing up and fighting for the kind of image this kind of thing gives us all. Bravo.
  7. So I have had my Banshee for about a year now. I took it out for the first time today and fell in love with it. I never even left 3rd gear low RPM. I had a blast putting around on it at the local offroad park getting a feel for it. My last one was a Honda 90 so this was a huge jump. This is why I just putted around. I half way figured I would have cooling problems as most of the time I was in 1st gear mid RPM but no problems what so ever. The only problem was 3rd gear, agents the wind in a hail storm on my way back to the truck "That hurts" LOL. Anyway the guy I got it from was a couple hundred pounds heavier than me and the suspension is way to stiff for my liking. I only weigh 140lbs soaking wet. How do I adjust it properly? I am not sure if it is stock but I posted this video here a while back. Dose it all look stock? Any tips on the adjustments?
  8. I have a 50, You can get them new for about $500. IO have some work into this one but I would let it go for $600 plus shipping "I am not local" Mostly the work is the addition of the headlight, some extra tires, repairs from getting it damaged when it was new going fixing all the factory crap. Its only run for about an hour tops, its an 09 model. If you get one new be very careful as I got this from a PB dealer in California. Most of those dealers I found were very shady with hundreds of complaints. I don't want to risk getting in trouble here so if you go the new rout PM me and I will tell you for sure what dealers NOT to buy from.
  9. Careful with that opened container. It wouldn't put it past them to call you on it.
  10. I have never been to the off road park, Its Prairie City in Rancho Cordova, Ca Anyone familiar with it? If so are there nice flat spots where I can get a feel for it? I would love nothing more than nailing the gas and going but I also like to live and I know the worst thing a beginner can do weather it be quads, bikes, jet skis or even new drivers is stomp on the gas and go before knowing what to expect and or how to handle the machine. Just watch all the amateurs on youtube knock the hell out of themselves. My hopes are that I can just ease into it, get a feel for it and unlike a lot of others actually learn what I am doing and what to expect before trying to ride beyond my l9imitations. I am sure some here are familiar with the ATC90 so you know come tomorrow I have a huge wake up call when I get this thing out in the opened.
  11. Am I ok to just but around in 1st or 2nd gear for the day getting a feel for it or will putting around slow damage the motor?
  12. After my last message I went out and gave it a try. I have not started it since that video was taken and it fired right up on the 2nd kick. Maybe I should just learn how to deal with 2 strokes and have fun with it. Any tips on maintenance?
  13. No I didn't do a compression check. Yes it takes a long time to get it started, once it warms up as you see in the video it starts with the first kick. I don't like just leaving things to sit so every now and then I run out and start it. A few time snow I have given up after my leg got tired.
  14. Thats a big bummer to hear. May I ask what brought you to that conclusion so I know what to look for in the future?
  15. I'm sorry, did I just break an unspoken rule? Anyway I just never liked 2 strokes to much. I figured my experience weather in be motorcycles, cars or lawn mowers was all 4 stroke so it may be better. On top of that I have no clue what the history of this thing is other than the guy I got it from saying it will pull the front end off the ground at 90MPH so I assume it was beat on and who knows how long the motor will last that's in it now. I figured if there is a possibility of changing a motor I may as well go with what I know. Look at the video and tell me how you think its running, sound good or bad? P.S. It never starts that easy. I warmed it up before taking the video so I didn't look like a retard kicking it over for 25 minutes.
