  2. Welcome to BHQ !! I too have the same name over there. Start with the basics. Switches, wireing plugs tite. You say no fire , do you mean no spark or it doesn't try to start? You do have switches on , right? X-2 on tors etc.
  3. Fuel inlet is largest and points up. Vents are in middle of carb on each side pointing sideways, bout 4" line goes thru ring tabs held by bowl screws. Float bowl drain bottom of bowl pointing to rear, hose long enough to drain off top of cases. Choke crossover tube goes between carbs oppisite choke knob. Sorry , don't have pics or diagram.
  4. Being in AUS changes the cost somewhat due to import duties. I know there is a shop in Aus that does a lot of RZ work (very simular engine), can't think of the name tho. Maybe PM member dirtydownunder , maybe he can help you out also on sourcing parts localy. Be sure your comp tester is quality unit with threads same length as spark plug.
  5. Stock carbs? With or w-o tors box on carb ? Rest of TORS diconnected? Carbs synced? Slides in correct carb? Choke tube on? Cleaned carbs lately? Float level?

  9. You can do it like you did on Blaster , or get kit , install idle screws, new cap & cable, disconect box.
  10. Welcome to BHQ !! Start by cleaning carbs one at a time , completely disassemble write down sizes, set float height inspect float needle valve. Sync carbs install choke crossover tube. Do comp test, WOT fuel off kick till gauge stops , threads same as plug. Do all diagnosis BEFORE tearing apart. Granted a weak engine will be hard to start BUT just because it's hard to start doesn't mean it needs to be rebuilt. Tired of everyone just saying rebuild , then you'll be back saying my freshly rebuilt engine is hard to start. JMO , your results may vary.

  12. I didn't. I was pointing out the difference in how to become an AMERICAN citizen and being an illegal. One way to create jobs is kick them out. If we would have secured our borders after 9-11 ,we would'nt even be talking about this. If we were like Korea or Iran they would be shot crossing. It is funny them pissing and moaning about them coming home !!
  13. If you like the Blaster a 'shee is at least twice as much fun !! If you've been on the Blaster forum you know it needs better suspension , so does a Banshee . If you test drive one imagine the areas you usually ride, will the power be useable for you? Crazy wazoo power is nice, but will it fit your needs? Find one that fits your needs. Good luck , JMHO your results may vary.
  14. I know on Blaster Forum they say 'shee shocks are upgrade with out mod, Worsecase is spring rate may be little soft. Have to compare length for ground clearance. If price is right snag them, can always resell if you don't like them
  15. After you clean carbs and air cleaner and get it back together , if it still does it , pull choke out halfway (at full throttle) , if it gets better go up on main jet , worse, go down.
  16. From what my blind eyes see, there is a lip or edge by the water neck , stock is totally flat. BTW , it's only $80 for milled and rechambered head from site sponser.
  17. If all things are good other than carbs, tempararely swap carbs using long choke tube. Could be internal leak. If issue swaps , there you go. Several different places could be leaking. JMHO, your results may vary.

  19. Good job 9090 Did you post any pics of your work ? Here is an example of someone listening to AND following advice. If Soryder sees this he'll be back spewing "dangerous" knowledge LOL . So how good does it run? How much time did you put into it ? Any details on exactly what you did ?
  20. Might take a while to burn excess oil out of right pipe, might want to "wash" it out. Might have lots of oil in that side crank case too. Try swapping plug wires ,trimming plug wires to fresh wire. My son's shee I pulled flwheel ,cleaned poles on stator ,inside of wheel , lugs on outside ,set pick-up gap.

  22. Didn't think you could get a turbo that cheap. Another obsrvation : the closer you are to the edge the harder/more you have to tune.
  23. Couple questions I have about turbo set-up. Why do you use 2-1 ex pipe? Seems be beter to have a pipe that makes the power more where you want it, like all out drag pipe. Second , why use blow thru carbs as opposed to one large carb on intake side of turbo?
  24. Have you checked the oil level then?
  25. If You can get the work done cheap enogh , go for it. Taper bore is also refered to as oval bore , opening will be taller than wide. Can't bore bigger than slide.
