  1. ill give them a go this weekend. thanks
  2. can i ask if you have solved the problem or not and what you have done. because i am having the same issue with my bike having a high idle. but once start to ride around it is okay untill getting to a complete stop and it rises again. thanks
  3. well i called the shop again and told him the story, and as i thought it was the worng ball so i ordered a new one. get it in 2 days so should be good after that. Like everyone is saying the clutch did just about nothing without the ball thanks everyone
  4. hey i just came back from the yamaha shop and they gave me a ball bearing but im pretty sure they gave me the wonrg one becuase it seems to be too small. it is only 4mm long. can someone please tell me whether this is the right ball or not thanks
  5. mannnn thankyou haha. there is no ball there :S thats what u get for buying a cheap banshee i guess. if i install the ball will the clutch disengage properly because atm it isnt disengaging very well?
  6. hi everyone this is probs a stupid question but i cant align the clutch push lever with the protuberance on the crankcase? i followed the manual and how it tells you to move the push lever towords the front and then turn the adjuster screw until both the lever and arow on the crankcase are aligned. but my lever wont reach the arrow on the crankcase becasue the adjuster is screwed all the way in? i think i might need new springs and fibers? but i want to check with people who know more than me about this. thankyou everyone in advance
  7. Righto, i have a washer that i was planning on putting in the carb. Its not the stock brass one but its another zinc washer i had lying around. Would this be ok to use given that it provides the exact same spacing as the original?
  8. thanks larry. im pretty certain that there was no washer there when i open it up, but ill have a good look around just in case. As for the washer itself ive got one which is almost exactly the same size as the stock brass one, BUT its not brass-instead zinc. would this be alright to use instead of getting another stock one becasue unfortunately i dont have anybody with another basnhee, and i dont want to pay $25 AUS dollars to order another washer from the yamaha dealer.
  9. would it be fine to put any washer that fits and is the same size as the orgiginal? Or does it have to be a brass washer?
  10. My new jets are also 310 mains and 27.5 pilots. are these good considering my set up? -No air box lid -K&N air filter with outerwair -just above sea level -18-35 degrees celcious riding temp - fmf gold series pipes with silencers -32-1 fuel mix
  11. hey everyone, i was just installing my main jets and i noticed that in one carb there was a brass washer where the main jet screws in and in the other carb this washer wasnt there. Is this normal? or do i have to buy another one? Is there any problem with running the washer in one carb but no washer in the other, or can i run no washers at all. Thanks
  12. Ok so i just got my pilots and mains, and when i was installing them i noticed that where the main jets screw in there was a brass washer in one carby, but in the other carby there was no washer. Is this normal?? Am i able to install the jets with no washers, or do i need to get another washer....if so must it be the same factory one. Or can i just use the one washer in one carby and no washer in the other carby.....does this affect performance? Again sorry for all the questions
  13. Righto, went shop today to get my jets, didint have any is stock, so i ordered some 27.5 pilots and 310 mains. Should hopefully get them in 3 days and get bike running.
  14. yes i was thinking the same. but how big should i go on my pilots because if heard quite a few people run 30/32.5. would that be too big? Also for the mains i might try 300's or 310's. Thanks for the advice guys
