I've kinda been wondering the same thing. I just got my shee back together a month ago with the stockers and it runs really hard, But Jeff @ FAST told me that I should switch to 33pwks and I'll have a much broader power band with no loss on the bottom at all. I'm going to make the switch, But I was still wondering about this.
Because they taste so fucking good. If god didnt intend for us to eat the deer he would of made them taste like shit. And I dont know if you tried it, but eating a live deer is just to difficult. All the kicking and bucking it's just to damn hard plus I think cooking them alive is a little inhumane.
So what happens when the guy set out has a bad launch and ends up in the other lane? You got the faster guy maybe slamming into the slower guy.
I have seen this almost happen in a few street races
I mainy ride mountain trails or fire roads. I dont do too many tight trails my shee aint really built for that. My gains are more mid to top. Talk to Jeff @ FAST he can give you what ever you want where ever you want it. He's a really good guy and he dont have a problem sitting on the phone with you to try and figure out what you really want.
Do yourself a favor and give Jeff @ FAST a call He'll hook you up. His work is second to none and some of the cleanest I've ever seen. He put a dune/ play port on my shee and this thing definitely hauls the mail. I was riding with a friend of mine over memorial day weekend he's got a TRX450r that has a big bore kit, cam, pipe and thats all he'll admit to. All I have to say is he is now ready to sell it to buy a Banshee.
I did it and I like it for what I do. Its definitely far superior to stock. I have about $350 in my swap and thats the arms, calipers, spindles, hubs, rotors, tierods and a brand new pair of 2009 450r shocks.
All after market pipes need a 27.5 pilot and if your running lean you can smoke the top end in a couple of hours. And just because its running good it dont mean that its not lean. An engine will scream while its running lean until you burn it up. Just go get a compression tester and you wont have to tear anything apart. What elevation are you at I know that 280s would of been too small for my bike when I was where your at with mods and I'm at sea level.
Those jets seem awfully small. Pro Circuits like big jets for some reason. I'm running Pro Circuits and I'm running a 380 main I also have a lot more mods and port work though.
Yea I know sorry bout that believe it or not I avoided the water and mud for the most part because my pods. And that would be sweet there are a couple more in my gallery also.
Good deal and welcome Nick. And one of these days I have to pick that set of 33pwks from you Jeff, But I'm glad to know your that busy keep up the awesome work.
