  1. Payment sent for crank.
  2. Just got the shifter and pancake today. Both were in like new condition. Thanks Jesse for a kickass deal and quick shipping. Oh and everything was packed real nice. Thanks again Jim
  3. Welcome to the BHQ.
  4. Welcome to the one and only BHQ. Well let me start by saying that I got my 2003 shee when it was 1.5 years old pretty much for free all I did was put siding on a buddies house he supplied everything and I supplied labor. And now I wouldn't admit how much I got tied up in this fucking thing at least with my wife in the room. The rebuild will be a never ending thing that is going to take every extra penny that you make. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but its the honest truth. Now with all that being said I dont regret a damn thing and I'm still not finished and I probably never will be. But on a more serious note as said before it really depends on how far your wanting to go. If you take your time and shop wisely and maybe buy used instead of new on items where there's not to much of a difference you could save hundreds. Good luck with the rebuild and post up some pics.
  5. X2 on Mull I've personally never used them, but I've heard all good things. And by reading his posts he definitely sounds like he knows his shit and a couple of other peoples also.
  6. PM sent I'll take the crank
  7. Damn bro thats fucked up, there's been a bunch of shees snagged here lately. Good luck with getting it back.
  8. I would say 320 to 330. Its better top start rich and lean it out to where it needs to be. A shee will run its dick off on a lean condition until it blows. So definitely do a plug chop
  9. That was a damn close call there Tyler. Good save though better luck next time.
  10. I would say 50 posts and 6 months. Or premium members only, but nothing will stop assholes from being assholes.
  11. X2 on that
  12. Unless you need them to clear the carbs and the clutch arm, you should just toss them. IMO
  13. Jeff @ FAST has them on sale right now. Check his thread in the sponser forum or maybe for sale by sponser forum.
  14. Go get yourself a clymers service manual. Its a must for reference such as torque specs and the order in which bolts should be torqued. Other then that its pretty basic, just keep everything clean and you'll be golden. Good luck with the rebuild.
  15. Dealership has them for sure.
  16. Damn Bro that really sucks. I hope it all works out for ya.
  17. I picked up a brand new billet pro design on fleabay for $45 + $6 shipping. I think they usually cost about $100.
  18. Yes for sure use up all old gas. And as long as that shee is broken in you could even mix at 40:1. For a little more power.
  19. Any after market pipes requires a 27.5 pilot and as far as mains I would start with around a 300 and do a plug chop from there. All bikes are different and its hard to give a specific size someone can get you close, but you will need to do a plug chop to be safe. This is assuming you have stock carbs
  20. I f I was you I would just go get a moose or dynajet kit. This will have new needles and enough different sizes of jets to get you going and more for future mods when needed. Good luck and dont forget to plugchop after changing jets. Also just to let you know dont just go by how it feels. A shee will run its ass off with a lean condition until it melts down. So just do a proper plug chop after changing jets its a must.
  21. X2 on this
  22. My first question would be what kinda port is Kev doing for ya? Unless your getting an all out drag port you'll be fine. Kev does great work from what I hear from the people on here. I personally had Jeff @ FAST do my porting, but that was just because he was closer to me and that was it. Both guys do awesome work and your going to be super happy when you get that thing back together believe me. It's going to be a night and day difference.
  23. What rod length do you have? Or do you know if its a short or long rod crank?
  24. Let me start by saying you are going to get a shit ton of different opinions on this one. I personally use Castrol 927 I've never had a problem and I like the way it smells. I wish that I knew somewhere local that I could get Klotz because alot of the guys here run and I'd like to give it a try. Good luck with the new shee.
  25. Goo deal I'm glad to see you step up and make it right.
