  1. Welcome to the one and only BHQ. Post up some pics.
  2. First thing is if you quad is pretty much stock and its overheating, You better start looking at rejetting because it sounds like your running lean. A stock rad is more then enough to cool your bike. As far as coolheads I prefer the 2 piece design because they can remove more material then the one piece designs which means better flow which equals better cooling. I also know that a few of the guys on here are complaining about the modquad heads leaking. I run a 2 piece vitos hemi head and I love it no problems and no leaks.
  3. Yea whats this joint called? I go down a couple of times a year to visit my mom I would for sure love to put the shee right next to the harley on the trailer.
  4. We got some hammers running around here also, The smallest buck on my wall is 129 5/8 net he was 129 7/8 gross. It was taken with a bow at 3 yards and the largest deer that I have grossed 176 6/8 and net was 146 2/8 taken with a bow at less then 10 yards theres a link to the pic in this thread. Me personally I try not to shoot a buck unless I'm willing to hang it on my wall, And a buck better at least make pope and young before I'll shoot at it. I have 4 buddies that all have deer that grossed over 200. Believe me Maryland is in the top 10 places to kill big deer in this country. The only problem is that there is no regulations on the size of a legal buck so most guys drop em even if their spikes, Which in my opinion is pointless you cant eat the rack. I'm just as happy taken a doe to fill the freezer with. This is a pic of my first mountable buck at least what I consider mountable and this is the smallest mount on my wall hes an eight pointer with 2 kickers of the back bases and this deer field dressed at 182 pounds hes got a 21" inside spread and netted 129 5/8 at 4 1/2 years old not to shabby. You gotta let them go so they can grow.
  5. Damn that sucks dude I hope your buddy pulls through OK.
  6. If its with a gun the neck is fine I just hope your not trying that same shot with a bow. A gun kills by shock or in other words exploding arteries and organs upon impact as where a bow kills by bleeding its victim out. This is why people aim for the shoulder or neck with a rifle, so the bullet will hit something hard to increase its shock value, As where if you took that same shot with a bow the arrow in most cases wont penetrate the shoulder enough to make a quick clean kill. If you put an arrow through the chest cavity of a deer it will die even if you didnt hit a vital organ. As soon as the chest cavity of a deer is cut it loses pressure which will kill the deer in a matter of hours. This is why we say "when in doubt back out ". And to you yfzandshee dont take me wrong I'm not trying to say nothing bad about the way that you hunt to each his own. My next door neighbors walk through the woods with shotguns and unload on any deer that moves. Last year one of them took a pretty nice eight pointer that had seven holes in it and his gun only holds 6 counting the one in the chamber and he had two left so who knows it was probably his brother that got in the other shots. Ethics change depending on where you live. Here in Maryland we have so many fucking tree huggers that if someone tried to show off a shot like that they would have it in every newspaper calling me a murderer. Not that I give a fuck if they ever walked in my office they would shit with all the antlers and feathers hanging around. Good luck next year lets keep some kinda deer hunting thread going with some pics of our trophies. I know that theres more hunters here then just us.
  7. To be honest bro that shot looked like it was in the cheek more then in the brain even more so if that shot was taken from a tree stand. What happens if that shot would of been 1" lower the only thing you would of done is rip half of her face off. In my opinion thats what 3D targets are for. If you think its ethical to take them shots go for it, But coming from someone whos been hunting all of their life and killed many deer, I wouldnt even take that shot with a gun. And thats not because I cant make the shot Its because I feel its unethical. I agree no need to argue if thats what you do then by all means go for it. I'm just saying that a shot like that will have more hunters looking down on you then it will impress. I printed that pic and showed it to a few hunters that I know and everyone couldnt believe that you did that. I leave shit like that for the 3D range.
  8. So what the fuck is that supposed to mean
  9. Got pics of just carbs and cable? If so send some to [email protected]
  10. Welcome to the one and only BHQ
  11. If this is the same company that makes the slp loud mouths for mustangs they're fucking junk IMO.
  12. Can you send pics of cylinder, porting and brake setup to [email protected] I am interested
  13. Well I had to break down and get one because while in the middle of my rebuild mine got a hole in it. I was running my harley after a cam swap and it vibrated some stuff off of a shelf and the shit slammed down on my radiator and fucked it up enough that I wont be using it. I am happy with it except for the fact that I run a peps stabilizer and since the rad is thicker I had to bump the rad out a little with some spacers in order to clear the stabilizer bracket. Let me just also say that some blue magic makes that rad shine. Polishing the tanks was probably a waste but it looks real good right now.
  14. If you need one I have an extra one laying around $20 shipped PM me
  15. Welcome to the HQ
  16. I know this aint a banshee question, but I'm sure a few of you guys here have done this or know someone who has. Well my sons have two 2001 blasters and I was wanting to put some old banshee front brakes on them, and I was hoping someone might be able to help me out. I just want to know what gets used and what dont. I'm also in search of two complete rear brake assemblies that I can also throw on there also. Any and all input is greatly appreciated. Oh and I forgot to mention that I have two complete brake setups including spindles, caliper, rotors, hubs and lines well basicly everything besides lever and rezzis Thanks Jim
  17. Shit are one and only loco would of smoked all them boys.
  18. I run a +4 and love it. A lot of people say that the turning sucks, But thats just because they dont know how to ride with it. When it comes to climbing hills its the greatest thing since sliced bread. As far as shorter then stock swingers, unless your racing flat track, MX or something like that I think that they are a waste. Some people will say that in tight trails you need it, but in my opinion a Banshee wasnt really designed for them kinda trails. As soon as you start to get on the pipe you have to get right back off of it.
  19. Again like everybody else said first you need to let us know whgat kinda riding you'll be doing and what mods.
  20. ANY FUCKING THING ENOUGH SAID !!!
  21. Unless you have a few extra sets of cylinders and your trying to learn a few things. I would suggest you send them out to Jeff @FAST he does awesome work very very clean or any of the site sponsers. I do all of my own work, but when it comes to porting I'll leave that up to the professionals. Just remember you can spend a dollar trying to save a quarter.
  22. Grab the gas and go!!!
  23. Will you sell me just the rear brake pedal without the master cylinder? If so I'm paypal ready right now. Thanks Jim
  24. You could at least offer to pay shipping. I dont think people are that generous to give it to you and pay shipping to, But thats just me.
  25. This aint fucking english class dude
