X2 on this. What kinda gas are you running. I'm running 18cc domes with a FAST port and I run race gas which is a must in most situations. As stated earlier try some 20cc domes getting rid of the head would be a mistake IMO.

Dude this has nothing to do with liking anybody. I dont even really know you. As far as proving your point maybe you should start another thread asking if everybody thinks you proved your point. This is just a forum full of opinions thats all dude I hope it dont get dragged in to a like dislike thing. All this started because some dude was asking opinions on cool heads and I gave him mine and all of a sudden I was the asshole in the other thread. Damn I was even attacked by a dude thats running a coolhead but was arguing against them and i never said shit to him. All I said is its a cheap ass substitute for a cool head. The question in the other thread was could someone suggest a cool head and what size domes. Not should I shave my head or get a coolhead.

But I like the fact that when I go to the hatfield mccoy trail system all I got to do is swap domes and I can run pump gas which is the way to go when your there because you just cant find race gas everywhere. In my opinon it wasnt a waste of money your talking like it was a couple grand, it was only a couple hundred bucks or so I've spent that on a good night at the club. Oh and really dont care what they did back in 87 because to be honest in 87 we had to get up to change the channel on the TV too but you can bet your ass that I have a remote now. There wasnt microwaves in every house in 87 either nor where there Ipods or CDs all of which I bet you probably own today in 2010.

Dude If you think its just about looking cool your the ignorant one. Did you here or see me say they run cooler? If you go ask 5 builders what to run I would be willing to bet that they are going to say get a cool head, But I guess you just know more then them. Theres many reasons to run a cool head besides for the cooling reasons that you say just isnt there. People use custom cut domes all the time and that would be a little hard to do with a stock head. And just to let you know unless your using a modquad head leaking really isnt a problem. I've been running a chariot made head for about 6 years now with no leaking or any other real issues what so ever. If you dont think that theyre worth it then dont fucking buy one this is a free country. Take a look around here everybody that is serious about their Banshee is running some sort of cool head. And let me guess the reason you got your panties all in a bunch is because your running a shaved stock head.

Sorry dude but shaving a stock head is not even close to the benefits of a cool head. The only reason I see someone shaving a stock head is because they being a cheap ass.

The initial gain is small, but as with any performance mod once you compliment them with other mods thats when they shine.

X2 but last time I said this I was bashed and told that I was a dumb ass because I have a vitos hemi head which this person swore it was made by modquad. But then chariot chimed in and said he made my head which I already knew thats why I bought it. These are just opinions which we are entitled to and sorry if they piss anyone off.

Hey Bro first off welcome to the HQ. If I was you I would get a chariot or a noss head and 20cc domes and you should be OK running pump gas. There are a lot of different ones to choose from I personally run the old style 2 piece vito's hemi head which was made by Chariot who is a sponser of the site. You can also look up alf44 hes also a sponser of the site and can hook you up with a good price on a 1 piece modquad head if thats what you want. Either way good luck and post of some pics of that shee. Oh and yes if you run too small of a dome you'll have to run race gas. I'm running 18cc domes and its a must that I run race gas which can be a pain in the ass sometimes, one because the shit cost $7 a gallon and 2 you just cant get it anywhere.

The 304s have the sparkies in them thats what I'm running. The 296s are the standard and to be honest I love my Pro Circuits and the 304s are what I need on my bike to ride the local state parks so thats what I got. I like the way they sound the only difference is that the 304s have spark arrestors and the 296s dont other then that there really aint no difference. Its not because of sound that they're approved it's that they wont start fires.

Also check very carefully for cracks under the crank. Sometimes when this happens the pieces that get stuck under the crank can crack your crankcase and it will leak tranny oil into you cylinders.

Well that sucks dude. Let me just say one thing you cant trust craiglists or should I say the people that contact you through craigslists. A friend of mine was selling a yz250 and had it in craiglists he had 3 people come the first day to look at it and later that night the second brother came back and stole the damn thing he just didnt realize he was on video the whole time. There was another dude on here that was selling a shee on CL and when some brother came and took it for a test ride and never came back.

Thats all I run is sunoco 110 and I've never had a problem, but then again I've never let it go longer then 90 days.

First off welcome to the HQ. Now for jetting IMHO I think that they will still be too small I woulkd start with at least a 360 and then do a plug chop to get it perfect. When tuning its always better to start rich and then lean it to where it needs to be. An engine will run its balls off with a lean condition until it melts down. So do your self a favor and tune it correctly or you'll burn it up.
