  1. Thanks! I´ll do that. I´m only looking a little more power over stock ports. My first plan was to send these cylinders to Fast or HJR and get them dune/play or Trail ported, but then I was reading over here that they were so busy that it would take 3 to 4 months to get them back. That is too long for me to wait. I found one pro over here in Finland. He promised anything around 60HP and good torque, but he also told me that he wasn´t familiar with these cylinders. He asked 600€ (895$) for the job ( porting only).
  2. OK! I have now 13/42 gearing and I haven´t tested it yet. I´m not going to race MX or anything, just having fun with my Banshee. If that gearing is too short for my 22" rears... I´ll go a little longer.
  3. was the Banshee ported or with stock ports?
  4. Okay here we go. My compression was 110 and 115psi and I was thinking that it was time to new bore and hone. It´s going to be 64.5mm Wiseco pro lites. I was thinking that now it´s perfect time to do some clean up to my ports. I didn´t have any good tools and they need some sand paper for polishing the exhaust and to smooth things in an intakes. I don´t know about the durations or what so ever, but exhaust is raised ~1.5mm and it´s 3mm wider than stock. Let me know what you think? Are they OK and good for some more power or are they fucked up? -Thanks.
  5. Do you still have the white cutted front fenders? What is the price and will you ship them here to Finland, Europe?? Thanks.
  6. If you are after sport ATV and want to go with Yamaha, I would go with Banshee over the Raptor. Just because of the seat is so mutch wider and better. You can allways get new handlebars and raise them if necessary. You can put new +2+1 A-arms with new aftermarket shocks and +2 or +4 swinger with stiffer shock and maybe 23" front and 22" rear tyres to make it look a little "bigger". With some mods and right gearing I think the performance will be more than fine. I have ride a Raptors, YZF and LT R 450 and it just feels like I have moore room riding with my Banshee. Your weight is not a problem with even a bone stock Banshee. I was riding with my wife and there was over 440lbs on it and it performed well. The first problem is the rear suspension ( I have Öhlins up front). ....just my 0.02€ cents.
  7. OK Stop!!! Thanks for all usefull info! Okay... I founded this: http://home.earthlink.net/~gellett/banshee.htm Now I think I will go 13/41 with my 20" and 13/45 with my 22"
  8. I realy don´t know how mutch it adds but THEY say it´s good thing to do! I also tryed to find info with search but didn´t find anything usefull. LOL- I think the problem is me... not the search option! ... after all I hope that the "porting" will do something -> I spend some serious time with them. I used needle-files and fruit knife and sand paper to do this.
  9. OK! Thanks. I think I leave them like they are right now.
  10. I want you MX guys to help me. Just give me your opinion. My riding is 50% in MX tracks and 50% open fields and fun riding. I use 20" holeshots in summer time and 22" Razr2 with spikes in winter time (rear) and I have stock 14/41 gearing. My mods will be T5´s and +4 timing and CarbonTech Hi-reeds. I know they are mid/top mods but I still want to be OK in MX tracks. I was thinking 13 in front and 43 rear with those 20" and 13/46 with those 22" If you know something better just let me know! -Thanks!
  11. I ported my stock reed cages and I want you to tell me are they OK and good to go, or fucked up and I need to buy new ones?! I tryed to find some information, but didn´t find any so here they are based on "feeling" stock. and after... I did some cleaning with fruit knife and sand paper after these picks. I have Carbon Tech Hi reeds for them.
