  1. I have no doubt you can find a steel braided line but think you would still have a problem. If the line is that close to the exhaust your fuel is going to end up getting way to hot in the line and causing you serious problems
  2. 360 mains are way to big! I would start at a 330 and work from there. You changing domes or just putting gas carbs on it??
  3. Sweet socks!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Just bought 2 CDI boxes from Abe. Great seller good communication! Dont hesitate to deal with him!!
  5. Crack around one of the head stud holes? I would look for a set of good stock cylinders and pistons in the for sale section and just put it back to stock bore for now.
  6. LOL Do not put 400 mains in it that is way to damn big. Fix your air leak on your cylinder do a leak down test on it then fire it back up and see how it runs with everything back together right.
  7. Have you pulled the dip stick to check the tranny oil? First thing is to pull that and make sure your oil looks good. If it does then you need to make sure the head gasket is not blow and it is blowing the water out the tail pipe. Have you noticed it running any water out the overflow? No it is not normal for it to go through water.

  9. If you look in the technical section here it will tell you how to ohm the stator out and see if it is good.
  10. I would Ohm out the stator and see if it checks out good if it does I would try to find another CDI box to bolt on it and see if that fixes it. Also have you tried taking off plug caps and cutting back plug wires just a little bit to make sure there is not a bad connection there?
  11. Even if you were running stock carbs the jets sizes that thing gave you would be way the hell off! Surfjag is right on with his starting point. Also make sure with those PJ carbs you turn the choke knobs all the way down tight to and dont try and set the idle with the knobs while you are trying to jet it.
  12. Needle clip is not your problem. If it is still hard to start and bogs bad you need to look deeper into the issue. Like was said earlier you need to look the TORS system over very well. I know it has been removed but have you chased the wiring all out to make damn sure every wire is unplugged and not jumped or anything like?
  13. Well you can Ohm the stator out and see if it is bad or not and that will answer the question. Not worth replacing the whole thing unless you are just looking to throw money away.
  14. LOL Why are you wanting a whole new electrical setup? That might be the first thing to figure out here
  15. 1,000,000.00 Give or take a dollar or two
  16. Look on ebay if you would like to get a price. They are going anywhere from 58.00 to 100.00. (I am not paying 100.00 for a used CDI LOL)
  17. Bumpity
  18. Should have explained better. Yes they are the same. Need a square plug style CDI box not a round style.
  19. I am in need of a CDI for a late model Banshee. I would buy 2 of them if someone had a couple they want to sell.
  20. It is hard to start because your pilot is too small. I was just messing with a set of FMF pipes the other day on a guys bike and I ended up with 30 pilots in it at sea level. I would start with 27.5 pilots and 300 main jets and see how it runs and adjust from there.
  21. What elevation are you running at? 260 mains are way small for that setup. I would start at 300 and adjust from there.
  22. I think if it was me and the guy who built the motor said try 7 and see how it works it would be pretty damn safe to run it at 7. Just my thoughts
  23. Use a razor blade to scrape off the old gasket and the either a scotch brite pad or some really fine sand paper to really polish it up nice and clean
  24. Not really sure what you are asking? You asking what you can use to clean the gasket surface?? If you are looking to flush the cases out where the crank is you need to take the motor out so you can dump out whatever it is you use to flush it out.
  25. If you have the throttle switched jumped that is not correct!!!!!!!! You either do not have everything un plugged that should be or you have another wiring problem. The throttle wires and every other wire that is involved with the TORS needs to be unplugged and not jumped in any way!
