hi there pulled head and bores off my banshee today just to check how the athena bore kit was going and i need put a new base gasket in cause the old one got damaged when pulling off my question is will a standard base gasket be alright to put on with the athena bores or do u have to get a athena gasket they look the same just not sure thanks guys

I thought it was the piston tapping the top of the head but I took spark plugs out so there was no compression and slowly pushed the kick start down and yer you can hear a slight ticking noise when u push kick start Down I will check to see if the kicker gear is wobbly tomorrow and let u know what the go it

Yer the basket is tight

I am running 15w 50 oil and the water pump and seals got done as well when rebuild was done

it only makes the noise when it is cold once its hot it goes away

Hi guys recently I got my banshee rebuild top and bottom end I rode the bike for about 4 hours then parked it in the shed for a month. Thought I would start it up the other day and it was making this werid ticking from the engine but I can't find out what it could be anyone else have this problem

Did you end up finding out what the noise was man cause mine is doing the same thing

Has anyone ported these these cylinders out thinking about doing it

If it shit or stuffs up you buy a different brand pretty simple might as well try the kit out

Might as we'll try the kit out it works out cheaper then buying new cylinders I am not looking for the best power

Hi there guys completely rooted my top and bottom end on my 2009 banshee crank bearing let go and yer made a big fucking my bores aswell Thinking about getting this Athena bore kit cause it comes with everything I need and got a new crank on it way is any one running this bore kit or know anything about them that could tell me what there like
