  1. its made by yamaha i think its called yama-seal or something like that some one once told me that u cant use like permatex or that RPV and shit like that
  2. did u switch the plug wires ... what was the outcome also look for gaps burn and cracks in your reeds

  5. it is fairly easy they split top to bottom and then u can pick ur crank right up go to www.babbittsonline.com and serch banshee case or crank and a thing should come up showing how everything goes together/apart but u also kno that u should replace your crank seals and i would use the yamaseal or whatever its called .... inbetween the cases when u put them together the crank case has to be air tight
  6. if u have 2 into 1 carb settup i think that would amost narrow it down to a spark problem IMO but im sure there are other things try switching your plug wires left wire to right plug and right wire to left plug and see if the left cylinder fires up insted of the right
  7. do u have dual carbs or a single ..... if u have duals i just figured mine out have the same problem i ended up havin to take apart my right side carb three times and clean the pilot jet finaly i got all the shit worked out and it runs fine now
  8. yes 10w30 reg motor oil also u should b ok pulling ur case back off it hasnt been on long so the gasket probly isn't stuck to it yet i have had mind apart two or 3 times with out changeing the gasket...
  9. idk about ur oil i use 10w30 or 5w30 in mine but anyhow turn the ajuster on ur clutch lever all the way in then ajust ur pushrod on the clutch so theres like about a 1/8 to 1/4 play in the lever then put the case back on and ajust the lever from there? understand what i am saying

  13. i just bought 8 inch wheels for my banshee bc all of the local racers around here run 8inch and i can get cheep tires.... should i re-gear it? and what would be a good gear change?

  15. sounds like a bad ground to me jump ur black wire on ur coil strait to your frame and see what happens if it starts than its a bad ground but b carefull bc it u bolt it fast u have no whay to shut it off unless u cut the wire

  20. i was planing on hooking the lights to be on all the time with no switch and have nothing but a tether
  21. i found a set of 27.5 pilots on ebay they say for yamaha RD250 RD350 RD400 does ayone kno if they will work in stock banshee carbs or have a set of 27.5 pilots for stock carbs
  22. should i wire my tether to the switch on the bars or to the key switch or doesn't it make a diff?

  25. i went from a 270 jet bc it was lean to a 310 and took off the snorkle now it runs fine but it idles to high and i dont have any ajustment evcept to make it idle even higher it has all brand new gaskets and seals and the yamaha sealent betweel the cases and also rubbed sealent on the gaskets cages and boots were they all press together to asure no airleaks before i bolted them back together also checked for cracks or tears in boots there are deff no air leaks
