  1. Get a duneable override,put the power to the ground.Tripple port exhaust,weld up the cylinders so you can hog out the transfer ports more.
  2. A single carb will not make your bike faster,it will make your bike slower though.So if that is your goal then go for it.

If there are no holes in it and the wire mesh is in good shape then just by a recharger kit and clean and oil it.If you take good care of them they will last the life of the bike.There is no better filter out there than a K&N for your banshee,whether it be pods, or a filter in your air box.If a filter falls off it is not the filters fault,it is the fault of the installer.

  5. What kind of riding do you want to do?185 is the perfect amount of compression in my book,you will need to run race fuel or methanol with that compression.You also have your motor ported to the pipes you are running and the carbs you are running.
  6. How big of bore are you going to run?68mil bore with a 4mil crank at sea level with a 21cc dome will pump around 180psi.

  8. Throw them rubber rings away,they are for dampening you don't want them.Pre soak your clutch disks and deglaze the steels if you are not putting in new ones.Do not over tighten the 6 bolts that hold the springs in,the towers they screw in will break off EASY.
  9. Since you are at 5,000ft i would go to a 17cc or 18cc dome and bump your timing to +4. You could still run pump fuel and not lose any over rev. A 17cc dome would put you at about 155 compression at 5000 ft.

If you got your bike ported and a good set of mid to topend pipes,+4 on the timing and v force reeds then you would know what a hard running banshee is like.You would not have a chance against my sons yfz450 without these mods,or one of my home ported dune bikes.Get it ported by a site sponser and you will be REAL happy.
  16. Don't forget to rough up the bottom of the crank case so it mixes the fuel better.

It is called electrolysis,that what happens when you don't use good coolant and run straight water for to long in a aluminum engine(PH LEVEL).Or if you have bad electrical grounds electricity will ground through the cooling system and cause this.You can check for the bad grounds by putting a volt meter in the water in the rad and ground the other lead and see if you read any voltage(engine running)

Your right it does take away from the top,also it doesn't add to the bottom either.A bike that is set up right with dual carbs will out perform a 2 into 1 in ALL aspects.If you put 1 huge carb on a 2 into 1 it will still take away from the bottom and won't rev out like dual big carbs,also you will suck float bowls dry.
