  1. How long are your connecting rods ?
  2. Is this still considered a banshee? it has 3 jugs, 3 carbs, 3 pipes ?
  3. That is alot of H.P. you are pulling out of those toomeys.
  4. I think it really depends on the way the rest of your bike is set up, like the size of carbs and porting and plans of future mods. I have seen alot of poeple use cpi for just normal riding in the dunes but they are def a high mid top end pipe.
  5. That 2 stroke twin cylinder engine with it's awsome sound makes it a banshee. I am not sure what to think if you add cylinders like a tripple or a four cylinder banshee, i guess as long as it is still a 2 stroke banshee based engine it is still a banshee.
  6. I'm jealous i want one
  7. What he said^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  8. I think T-5s would copliment your set up better than fatties, just my 2 cents
  9. I do ALOT of riding in florence, i live an hour from there, and have used T-5s there i really like them for dune riding, i use to run them on a drag motor.
  10. I put my money on REDLINE, uhoh does that make me a nut-swinger?
  11. I would start off at 1.5 turns and trie it.
  12. Just buy one with a lockup clutch and an override trans that will do the trick.
  13. Try it, it should make a difference you can see if it gets worse or better so you can tell if it is a lean spot or a rich spot, the pilots do not come into play at that throttle opening, i have always had good luck with 27.5 pilots on stock carbs but every bike is different.
  14. I think it is like every 20 degree drop in temp you move up one jet size as a good starting point from were you were.
  15. T-5's all the way for the kind of riding you want to do, they are a good pipe that can handle alot of mods and porting if you decide to later on, then you only have to buy one set of pipes.
  16. You should be around 300 on the main jet, clip in the middle on the needle, and 27.5 on the pilot and around 11/2 turns ont the air screw. Those blasters make alot of piston noises, you dont have a water jacket around the cylinder to dampen any noises but i don't know if this is what you are hearing or feeling.
  17. Lid or no lid that is the question
  18. Make sure you don't lose the little washer that go under the main jets.
  19. Have you tried raising your needles? which in turn means lowering your clips.
  20. You should have a override tans if you run a lock up otherwise they are hard to shift.
  21. Wow, those are huge jet sizes for stock carbs, i would get a duneable overide, i LOVE mine.
  22. How do you know you have low compression, did you check it? Maybe you just need to re jet, maybe you need bigger pilots,if you are on a tight budget you should be sure before you just overhaul it unless you just want a fresh motor. Alot of guys on here have been having trouble staring there bikes now that it is cold due to jetting issues. What are you jetted at? Just my thoughts
  23. Just yank the head off real quick it only takes a minute, and then go from there. If you have that low of compression you will see your problem pretty fast.
  24. Are you sure you got the solder ALL the way over to the edge of the cylinder and not just in the bowl area?
  25. Nice clean banshee's are worth more than people will pay these days
