  1. im really good friends with the mechanic. for what i paid him now he said hell let me roll it out before the engine is completely apart. as of now just the heads are off. if i cant sell it as a rolling chassi ill pay the bill and just sell after the work.
  2. i have run across some hard times and i hate to say it but i must sell my banshee. I bought it in the fall, and i literally rode it for a half hour and the crank barrings went. It has so many extras i can only list a few, holeshot HD tires with black holeshot baja rims (used for that half hour, brand new) , 2 into 1 carb conversion, extended rear axle, racing frame, pro taper handle bars, laegers a arms, heat cut front tires.... the list goes on. Now the bike is in the shop, and because of my financial situation i dont know if i have enough to have it completed. I have the mechanic putting in Hot Rod cranks, Weisco pistons and rings, new seals and barrings... the works. My offer is $4500 for a completed banshee with a completely rebuilt motor, and that offer still stands, but Im in such a bind that if someone can make me an offer for a blown shee (basically a rolling chassi) ill take that to. thanks guys
  3. thanks for the help guys. im new to this forum so im kinda fishing for ideas. i just took my bike to the shop and the mechanic said it does sound like a beat crank. i told him since he has the motor apart he might as well replace the cranks, barrings, pistons, and seals. im going all aftermarket. any ideas on what parts to buy? i wanna keep it all under say $1200
  4. i never fully pulled each piston, i was going off a brief visual . im hoping its as simple as new rings or new pistons, but i have a feeling its gonna be more than what im thinking.
  5. well this is what i did to discover my lack of compression. i pulled out both spark plugs then placed my finger tip over the spark plug hole. i then had a friend slowly turn the kick start. the left side had perfect compression (air comming through the spark hole) and then the right had barely anything comming out.
  6. i can physically wiggle the crank arm itself. im just going off of what i was told from a relative. he knows his stuff when it comes to two strokes but like im doing now. its always good to get a second view.
  7. straight up ill tell you i paid roughly $450 for them. they were literally used one time, im looking for at least $350
  8. i checked the pistons and they're fine and my rings are worn but nothing to the extent that it wont run .
  9. if i can get a smaller rear tire with decent tread and near to perfect rims ill trade. other-wise make me any offer .
  10. i believe i spun the barring in my crank. im guessing on only one side, because i get great compression from one cylinder and the other is crap. i have no metal shavings in my motor. does this sound like more than a crank barring ? how much you think its gonna cost for a repair? thanks alot
  11. Im selling my set of Holeshot HD tires (20x11-9) and BLACK Baja rims to match. Please make me an offer . I need cash but im willing to trade. These tires touched the dirt one time up at a nearby track. Tread is very deep and the rims have light paint chipping where you tighten the lugs. i have pictures of the set on my banshee in my Album.
