    Rose Bowl

Going to the Rose Bowl...GO DUCKS...
  3. One of the BEST mods you could do is get a duneable override trans. You can gain alot of bike lenghts by being able to shift without letting of the throttle without adding any more power. There are alot of guys running them on there bikes and if you race them and don't have one you are at a huge disadvantage. It is one of the best mods i ever did to my bike. You could also run a lockup clutch if you had one. I got mine from Redine racing and love it. You can get one for around $400.
  4. That impeller is gear driven, it is driven off the white plastic gear under your clutch side cover, so it should turn when the motor is running.
  5. I like black and yellow GO STEELERS!
  6. It really makes a HUGE difference on what elevation you are at and what your timing is set at. At sea level with +4 timing i like to run 21cc on pump gas 91 octane. At higher elevations you run smaller domes.
  7. Definitely the cheapest, and most noticeable mod you can make. You can just slot your factory plate or buy one for $35.00.
  8. I would not ride my bike without those bottom mounts, they are VERY important.
  9. You could need a new pressure plate. I had a problem like that and i even run a lockup clutch, i found that the pressure plate was worn so it wasn't getting the proper clamping force on the clutch plates.
  10. Try new spark plug caps, you could have a blown resistor in the cap. I replace mine with NGK caps. You just screw the old ones off your wires and screw the new ones on.
  11. If you want more power why not run dual carbs ?
  12. Do you still have the TORS on your bike ? If so one of your slides might not be closing all the way.
  13. If you do alot of riding were you go over stumps and rocks and need a really strong wheel than the stock wheel is very strong, but heavy. Also if you go to a 8 inch wheel you will have alot more tire selection to choose from, if you order from rocky mountain they seem to have alot bigger selection in 8 an 10 inch wheels, as do other places. You can't beat a 8 inch wheel in the sand it gives you alot better float and traction and i would also go with the 22's ground clearance is everything when you are doing hole shots and riding in soft sand. The number of paddles depends on how much motor you have compared to how much you weigh.
  14. You should have a 330 or a 320 main at sea level around 70 deg.
  15. If they are allready drag ported the port timing and durations will be off and you wont have any power. If you have a set of non ported stock cylinders then all you have to do is drop the floors of the transfer ports and exhaust ports 2 mills and you would be good to go.
  16. I would go up 1 tooth in the front and see if you can still launch in second gear, you should be able to weighing a buck 50.
  17. If you allready have drag ported cylinders you might not be able to use them on a 4 mill crank, unless you had them decked and reworked, which means you would probably be better off selling those and getting a fresh set and have them ported for a 4 mill set up.
  18. I think t-5s are the best all round pipe. They work good on ported and non ported motors and they have alot of potential. They don't have much on the bottom but pull hard mid through top.If you want bottom end power buy a 4 stroke
  19. 330main, 27.5 pilot, middle clip on needle, 1.5 to 2.0 on the air screws
  20. No, your stock ones will work fine as long as they are not bent or something else is wrong with them
  21. Adjusting the needle doesn't adjust idle, the needle comes into play between about 1/4 throttle to about 3/4 throttle. Have you tried to sync your carbs and adjust your idle and air screws ?
  22. Get t-5s with a hush kit
  23. Yea, whoops my bad, i wish 3.37
