Sorry if some of these questions seem elementary but new to the banshee world. my other machine was fourtrax 250R. if i go w/ ported cylinders instead of carbs ur saying i would feel a bigger improvement? if i do go w/ ported cylinders do i have to do anything w heads? W/ porting would i have to go w/ bigger carbs or can i just re jet?
have a 2000 banshee w/ fmf pipes/silencers, barnett clutch, k&N, modified airbox, and Boost bottle. Dont really plan on doing much more work to it. what size carbs do you recommend to bring up performance?
Recently my banshee has been somewhat missing/bogging at about 1/6 throttle. It goes but is sluggish and when I hit it it sometimes takes a second to hit powerband. While in powerband the machine runs great but when in some trails it sucks trying to keep it in powerband all the time. Have any ideas why this is suddenly happening? never did it before. Starts with 1 kick and idles great. Thx!
