i got an assortment from oreilly auto parts with everything from big all the way down to some that are smaller than the ones on the needles. i would think any napa or carquest would have them also.

28's would be ok but not really a lot of top end. iit really all depends on what other stuff is done or going to be done. if you get into a top end port job then 28's will hold it back.

so they sent you nylon lock nuts in place of castle nuts? if so you should be fine. as long as you have some stud sticking up through the nylon nut they wont come off.

if they are the platinum pistons like i run then the rings only go on a certain way. not trying to insult you but make sure you have them right. one ring is fatter than the other and they have a top and bottom. like said before, dont use wiseco rings. they are totally different than the wsm.

take the silencers apart and repack them. i think the packing is about 10 bucks a side. cheap and easy. if thats not quiet enough im sure someone has some stockers they will trade you

you figure anything out? the second video sounds like a plug cap issue to me as well. was the third vid with new plug caps?

i traded for my 916's almost a year ago so i have no idea how old they are but the chrome is holding up pretty well. i will say the chrome on my old t5's was nicer but my dmc's have held up really well, nothing like what you got 08. like said before, if they only offer you another set then just take them and sell or trade them

thanks for all your work on organization jason. april 3rd is no good for me on a rain date (anniversary) but if it works best for everyone else then thats cool. i will prolly just bring my own lunch or buy something at the concession stand. looks like we will have one heck of a turnout. i think the biggest thing is that everyone gets there early so we can get thru the gate and get going. seems like last year we lost an hour just waiting for everyone to show up and get ready. but anyway should be a good time, i cant wait.

if your gonna try any other parts i would start with stator. i hate to recommend throwing parts at it to try to fix it but ive seen stators cause some strange problems on these things and they are hard to diagnose. maybe if you know someone that can loan you one or something like that just to test with. good luck

sounds like we are gonna get a really good turnout. its almost march not too much longer. once we get a little closer we should get a list going of people who are in for sure. give us an idea of how many to expect and what kind of parking we will need.
