i just picked up a shee that has keihn airstryker carbs. the guy said they were 35mm but im not sure on that yet. he also said the only way to run them was with the twist throttle thats on there. i hate twist throttles and would really like to put a thumb throttle on it, does anyone know if i can do it and where do i get the cable. BTW this is my first shee and i just joined the site, you guys seem really helpful and respctful.

not trying to steal the thread but my 10th digit is a K which makes it a 89. but it has a arms on top and they look completely stock. my friend has a 95 and our a arms are identical. the brackets that weld to the frame are the same and the welds are the same as all the others, so i dont think its a conversion kit or anything....?????

i just traded my R for a banshee. i was also somewhat dissapointed in the power but it was so much fun to ride. another thing to consider is your size. 250r is a relatively small quad.
