  2. im pretty sure im gonna make it as well. me and rundmc can go together. sheerider1026 said he may come as well. i dont have a drag bike but im one of the best arm droppers in the midwest. i have been compared to the likes of Rich Christensen.
  3. right on. thanks for all your help j madd. i got a die grinder and some carbide bits so we will see what happens.
  4. thanks for the info and pictures guys. i pretty much already had an idea on how to go about it (making template from gasket) just didnt know what to do about the lip down inside there with the hole in it for oil. i figured youd just want to smooth it out and by the pictures it looks like thats about it. how deep would you say you cut into them? i know the top part just depends on how the juggs are ported, but what about down in there an inch or so?
  5. did a search and couldnt find anything useful in the allotted 8 pages. juggs are dune ported and i have it back apart to replace crank seal. i was wanting to port match the cases while i was at it and would like any input that anyone has. thanks
  6. so anyone going? i gotta work first part of saturday. could come out sat evening and stay til sunday. but if no one elso is camping i may go to badlands.
  7. not too bad. just giving you crap. you coming to haspin?
  8. does your perch have some free play to it? if there is no free play then you prollly just need adjustment. make sure you can pull in on the lever a half inch or so before you feel resistance. tusk is a pretty good clutch i wouldnt hesitate to run one unless its a higher power motor
  9. id listen to firebanshee. im sure you could trade them straight up for t5 with no prob
  10. i would say it depends on how many watts they draw? i would think you could wire them off the headlight switch somehow but the stock stator only puts out 100w
  11. i have heard t6 arent as good for ported engines as t5. i dont know if i really believe this or not tho. i had some t5s and liked them really well. toomey says on there site that the t6's make more power but that may be boecause they get an extra 100 bucks out of them lol. good luck
  12. so does this mean you finally repacked your silencers lol. go to napa they should have a big assortment of them surely one will fit
  13. depends on work for me also. if i have to work saturday then ill come out saturday afternoon and stay til sunday....depending on weather of course. you never know this time of year in IN
  14. depends on work for me also. if i have to work saturday then ill come out saturday afternoon and stay til sunday....depending on weather of course. you never know this time of year in IN
  15. the choke tube didnt come unhooked did it? did you turn the idle down when you synced them? if you didnt lower the idle on either carb while syncing them then you must have another issue. if you did turn one down then just turn them both back up equal amounts.
  16. as far as shops are concerned i would say it is somewhat regional. anywhere near the dunes im sure the shops will be more banhsee friendly. but here in central IN the local dealerships arent good for much banshee related. there are 3 shops within 7 miles of my house and i cant go buy a bottle of klotz super techniplate from any of them. went to the honda shop tonight and the only decent 2 stroke they had was castor 927 for almost 20 bucks a bottle. and as far as actual parts that are made for a banshee you may as well forget it. i dont have a problem ordering from online sources but sometimes it would be nice to be able to go grab a clutch cable or something like that without having to wait 3-6 days.
  17. i know you said t5's but i got some nice dmc 916's i may consider trading.
  18. im in for sure
  19. be saturday for me as well. if the weather is nice im gonna try to go on memorial day. (next monday)
  20. bump for good seller and great deal
  21. welcome aboard. sounds like you got a good deal on your bike. good to see you are taking the right steps to keep it running also. i agree with firebanshee, bump up a size on the pilot. plugs look pretty good. if it runs strong you may leave it alone. maybe just lean the needle one clip to liven it up a little more
  22. ebay. keep an eye out. eventually you will find a deal. for sale section here as well. there is some adjustment to the stockers but dont think it makes much difference.
  23. ill take the head. pm me payment info please. just head by itself
