  1. Thanks for the heads up. I thought they were off size.
  2. yeah I would be interested. Did they come off Wicked arms? Are they polished? I measured the arms, they look like 7/8". The ones I have seen are 3/4 or 1". I ould probably get 1" ones to work but would rather have the correct size.
  3. bump... Want to make sure I get the right ones. I thought someone said they were an odd size.
  4. Man I wish I could. Still in a rebuild. Let us know how it is.
  5. that is my favorite model banshee. I was gonna finance one when they came out but couldnt afford it. So I ended up buying a trashed one and rebuilt it the way I wanted. Love the grafics on that one. A little chrome here, some polish there would look bad. But dont think I have seen one modded that is ALL black. Yu would probably save some coin by going black instead of chrome.
  6. had a similar problem with those carbs. Adjust your air screws a little to see if it clears it up. If that doesnt fix it completely go up on your pilot.
  7. I think its dumb also. Its my quad or bike. And unlike other material possesions that take on a femine names, my Banshee is no bitch. I refer to it as the beast. Sometimes the widow maker.
  8. For you guys that run wicked arms with braided hoses. What size or where did you get yours?
  9. unemployment was the best thing to ever happen to me. Worked in plastics for 4 years. Shitty job with no room for advancment. Now I get almost the same amount in unemployment and have started my own shop. On top of that they pay for you to go back to school. Shit man I can do whatever I want and actually get to see daylight for the first time in 4 years. Dont get me wrong, being unemployed does hurt the ego at first. Just use it to your advantage. Milk that shit for all its worth. Do things that you have been wanting to but couldnt before. Take a break, you only live once.
  10. looks like a Pro Armor too me.
  11. They are made from the same material as the filter ones. It is an exremely fine mesh. Small enough air flows through easily but water will bead. Its not water proof, its water resistent. If it gets cloged that bad while riding, it is it held on with velcro. You can just wash it off in a stream. It is good to have, other wise all that crap will go into the box, and then on your filter, and that would be a pain in the ass to clean. Here is the FAQ on Outerwears from their website. I think it will help clear up any other questions you may have. Outerwear FAQ And this is the oil I recommend. It works very well. PJ1 filter oil
  12. heelgaurds are nice for hillclimbing, you can lock your feet back to be in a more stable postion.
  13. What kind of oil are you using? Get the oil that turns sticky. Spray it on, massage it in, then lightly squeeze with a rag to remove extra. I cant remember the name of the stuff I use but its awsome. I will check tomorrow. If your filter oil drips into your airbox it will be getting sucked into your motor also. The stuff I use sets up.
  14. for the original owner bends should be covered
  15. soak a rag in CLR and lat it on the pipe. Let it work for awhile then wipe it down.
  16. they flow excelent. After each ride I wash the one for the lid off. It catches all the nasty shit that flies up under the seat.
  17. Should have made her ride with you. Thats cool though. All the snow is gone here but everything is frozen. Was out yesterday on the trails behind the house. Hit a solid puddle on a turn and ended up in the trees.
  18. I would have to say Glamis also. Its not just the riding. You will see stuff there you will never see in person anywhere else.
  19. Yep, dont need an impact. I just use the steels. Lock them all together with some locking needle nose pliers through the basket and you have an instant clutch holder. Works like a charm.
  20. not good with the exchange rate but sounds like that would be in 50 dollar range.
  21. sounds like they are in good shape then. wasnt trying to start shit just saying it nice to hook up a fellow HQer. He may be the goofy lookin brother, of the step-sister you never knew, but were all family
  22. well stop screwing around with him man. Give him a good price, he's family afterall.
  23. yeah offer him like 20 bucks. He just wants to try to get some ridiculous price out of them. Tell him you are looking to get some fullbores but if you can pick theses up cheap you will get them. Ya now, just to run for the meantime. He will sell them cheap, unless he can find another sucker.
  24. I run a Pro Flow setup. You got to oil the filter. Spray it on then massage it in. Then use a rag to remove exess oil. Just lightly squeeze the filter with the rag. I also run an Outerwear on the filter and one for a box lid. I ride in tons of crap and in alot of dusty stuff too. With this setup you will have no problems. The outerwear for the lid is water resistant and will keep most of the mud/water out of the box. The filter outerwear will pick up most of the rest. The oil will make sure nothing else gets through. Cleaned my carbs after I put the bike away last year and there was nothing really to clean. They were spotless inside.
  25. Alba has Marines on their site for 60 bucks. The PRM one is 170. Damn im glad I only paid 65 for mine. Unlike the others I have seen, these both lift your cooler/can above your exhaust.
