  1. I would just call them. They are very helpful, and I am sure they cant cost all that much.
  2. What do you mean by top end pipes? Do you mean, a good brand? OR do you mean, a high reving pipe. Either way the answer is YES. They are a very good pipe. And they have a set of mid. range pipes and high rev. pipes. I have never heard anything bad about that company. Just buy accordingly. I will be running the PT mids this year on my trail monster. Cant wait.
  3. get a bolt that the head will fit in there. Then get your tourches out and heat that fucker up. That was the hardest part of my rebuild. I broke two wrenches. I accidently sand blasted it with that part still in there. BUt it was no match for the torches.
  4. ^ Page 6, post 79. Took me almost 6 months just to post so who knows how long it would take to make a banner.
  5. I just cant bring myself to cutting mine. I kinda like the stok look just wish they wernt so big. Althogh, I will be running +2 arms and Pt mids this year so maybe a "trim" is in order
  6. Its gonna depend on your terrain. Sure you can get used to it. But for example... I live in PA, there is no feasable way to ride the trails with a twist. There are so many roots, rocks, gopher holes, I would end up in the trees in no time flat. However, if I was doing some dirt roads, I would love to crank on a twister.
  7. ^ yes. at best honing will smooth out very light scratching. Anything more will need a bore.
  8. I would say if we can tell by looking at a photo over the internet then yes they will need bored. Are they smooth? If there are any scratches they will need bored. Post them up, lets have a look.
  9. I would have to agree with this statment. After all you have 5 posts and now you have a banner advertisment on here it would be nice to hear some history about your business. I have no problem with you asking for some "guinea pigs" but you need to be more active on this site to have any credability. You have some good prices on some of your items and I do like your nerfs and bars.
  10. I bought one of those EZ drain plates. Hey, I really like how it works but I could have made one and saved me the 45 bucks.
  11. Does he happen to know what company he got them from? Mine isnt Alum. I have not had a problem, yet. That is kinda scary though. I would hate to remove it because it does catch alot of shavings from my clutch plates. That was before I got a new basket though. Damn now you got me all worried
  12. I have heard good things about the FAST setup. However, make sure your pressure plate hasnt worn a groove. The FAST kit has wider fibers and will not seat properly if so. If you do have some wear I would get another Dirt Digger. That is what I run and it works well.
  13. ^ yes. however what exactally do you mean by broken? Where the cable goes? Or do you mean it doesnt operate the clutch anymore? If so you should check the pushrod and ball to see if everything is ok. They could have welded themselves together.
  14. Fire brings the fish in.
  15. First off, loose the negativity. That will get you now where. That being said... DMC 916 are very hard to get ahold of nowadays. They dont make them anymore and those who know what they have are very unwilling to part with them. Trust me, I have been trying for years now to get a set. I live in PA aswell. If you want a mean sounding pipes that will compliment our terrain I would have to say PT Mids are the way to go. Someone had a video clip on here and the are very mean sounding. You could also check YouTube. If anyone knows where to pick up a set of 916s I would love to know.
  16. Last year. 4 to 5 inches. This pond is only about 10 feet at the deepest spot though.
  17. You should have got a paper that shows how they mount. The bent part toward the front of the bike. You got the bottoms on right.
  18. Now that I look closer I can see a plate on the bottom arm. They are Fullflight.
  19. they dont look like my wicked +1 +2 arms. Mine have a closed end where the ball joints thread in and the upper arm has a slight bend toward the hiem. I ant see that part in your pics.
  20. heres a trick I have learned. Take some old clutch plates, stick them in there without the fibers. Then use a pair of needle nose locking pliers to hold them together through the basket. Walla, home made tool. Works like a charm.
  21. those are all pretty good prices. Remember that most of the cost involved is in the prep. It is also the most time consuming. A previously powder coated item will take longer aswell. See if you can get the price down by doing some of the prep yourself.
  22. All black is nice. However, if you would like some contrast try a silver vein. May cost a little more due to a second coat of clear. Dont think I would do the front bumper, but the rear grab bar would match nice.
  23. I saw that in the mag. aswell and looked it up. then saw how much they wanted for it and laughed my ass off. Not nearly as hard as watching that guy fly through the air though. That was some funny ass shit.
  24. Just recieved my Wicked +2 today. I ordered on the phone. Customer service was very, very good. I recieved them in 4 days. I was completely shocked how fast they got here. I inspected every inch of them and can tell you I have never dealt with a more complete buisiness before. I considered every option out there before ordering and can say I am very glad I went with them.
  25. I would definatly recomend the plastic. It will give enough not to damage were it is mounted. The TM one is great. However, they are expensive. I have THIS ONE. Not only does it brace itself better, it is far less expensive. You can paint it any color and moddify it if needed. I have one on my banshee. EDIT: Just relized this one is only 5 buks cheaper. Either this is not the one I have or they jumped their prices 2fold. I only paid $20 for mine that looks identical to those about 2 years ago.
