  1. You are still running the stock pipes, so 210 mains are ok, depending on your intake. Are you running a snorkel and lid, no lid or aftermarket air filter.
  2. dealerships here in BC don't stock anything for the banshee, but whatever you order is there in 3 days max. same thing is I order something from a catalog at the dealer. If I order from the States it usually takes about 2 weeks and I have to go pick it up at the post office and pay duties.
  3. I like your racing boots man. Well done
  4. I just put in 2 o rings and used a vice to get it squeezed down enough to get the screw back in. It works great. Looking for new springs and stuff just seemed like too much work to achieve the same result.
  5. WTF does that mean.
  6. You can get rid of the white marks on blue plastics with a heat gun
  7. Get yourself a brand name O-ring or X-ring chain like DID or RK. The non o-ring type stretch too fast which causes the chain to snap and eats your sprockets as well. Also check what your sprockets look like. No point putting a new chain on worn sprockets.
  8. Go with the high heat silicone like Snop said. Just smear a bit on the pipe and push the stinger on and clean up any that squishes out.
  9. Do you have FMF pipes, or just the silencers.
  10. If you are lactose intolerant, it is ok to skip the whipped cream. It will not affect performance
  11. I went up there last August for the long weekend. Great place to ride, but the mosquitoes eat you alive. Will probably be going again this August. When are you planning on being up there.
  12. Northern New York is only about 2200 miles away. Lil bit to far with the price of gas.
  13. Are there any members in the Vancouver area. I am getting tired of riding with slow ass 4*4's, and would'nt mind finding some new trails to ride and meet up with some HQ'ers.
  14. With 2" risers you should be fine. Maybe think about a Clark tank. They look a bit more like the stock tank around the radiator shroud.
  15. Probably 6mm by 20 or 25mm. Could be wrong on the length though
  16. If you are running stock carbs, stick to stock needles. And stay away from jet kits They are just a way to get you to pay 20 bucks per jet. All jets are the same, Mikuni small hex.
  17. motor is all stock , just bolt ons. doesnt make sense for bowls to run dry There is no way a stock motor sucks that much gas. Take out your fuel valve and check the filter screen. If you run an inline filter, toss it. Do you have a breather tube on the gas cap with a vent valve. The vent valves can get blocked and slow down the fuel flow to the carbs
  18. Don,t waste you time. Spend a couple dollars on a reputable builder to do a port job and get a motor that is reliable and runs like a raped ape. Hacking pieces out of your piston is just a poor man's way of trying to blow up your motor.
  19. I pinned it too long and ran it lean.. Should've just stayed home rather than goin on a 8 mile trip. The banshee motor comes out of a roadbike. If it is set up right you can pin it forever and it will just keep going. Ive owned powervalve and non powervalve RZ's, and I never once was worried about riding WOT for extended periods. 200 km trips were common. Sucks that your motor blew up, but make sure that you find out what caused it so it doesn't happen again. BTW drinking and riding are just retarded. No matter how cool you think it is.
  20. The base gaskets are just paper gaskets. Flip it over and it will fit
  21. Use tapping oil when cutting the threads and go slow. Put something inside the carb when drilling so that you do not drill into the opposite side of the carb.
  22. If the cable and sheath are both 2" longer than OEM it should fit fine with no issues. You will just have a 2" longer loop at the clutch perch. If you are having adjustment issues the cable and sheath must be different amounts longer than the old cable
  23. You can get the screws only. Check ronniesmailorder
  24. I sent mine to HJR. It was about CAD40 for shipping. All the local shops wanted way too much and would only do a clean up port. Waste of time.
  25. The intakes are painted black by Yamaha. I don't know why yours have all peeled off like that though.
