  1. I have a well built honda 250r and I am sore the day after I ride and I ride the track at least once a week. I would say to get some a arms and some shocks and see how you feel. almost anything will be much better then stock.
  2. how old is your throttle cable and when was the last time you lubed it? its very very rare for a slide to stick majority of the time it is in the cable or in the throttle box. on a round slide it can happen if the guide pin goes bad but not on a pwk.

  4. I thought the pro circuit pipes were suppose to be bottom end and Paul turner mids. I know a lot of mx guys run PT mids.

  6. I got 162s on my 34pjs. I got a 4mill stroker 190psi toomey T5s, Pods, agressive trail port, Vfroce 3 reeds. On a stock motor with stock pipes your carbs are way too big. the 145 is probably right. the other one is probably jetted for the airleak. order an air/screw mixture.

  8. oh really, I went to 30mms form stock and I noticed a decent gain throughout and plenty more up top. I have an agressive trail port 4mill designed for more midrange power.

  10. I have been too the point where I had my banshee on sale for some time and I am very thankful that it didn't sell. I have had every problem in the book ruined 3 dunes trips for me but now that she is running great man it is the best bike I have ridden. Trust me its worth it.

  12. take some time to explore the area, Sometimes following veterans can take you in trails or sections you aren't able to do or your bike can't handle. Otherwise I recommend cleaning all the grease and shit off of your engine before you go. It just a shitload of sand buildup on your bike after wards.
  13. I have had the pods on my bike for 1 trip about 3 months now and I love them. I don't know about the power aspect I just like that I can take my filter off and check my slides and do all that stuff very easily. I run them with outerwares and when I took my filters off to wash the bike i didnt see any particles of sand or anything in the carb. On my bike the pods hit the stinger tubes. Not a big deal for me because I run exhaust heat wraps.
  14. in all seriousness only a few people were actually rioting the rest were just watching. its funny because we have the highest ticket prices out of any city. No not the price the canucks charge at the box office, the price people actually pay to go in the door. MAJORITY of tickets are owned by season ticket holders who pay 10k+ per seat. Can you afford this? these people sell their seats at a premium a high premium so to get in your paying 50% higher then the actual seat price. in playoff times all of the tickets mysteriously are sold by ticket scalping companies. (weird, how did they get so many tickets when there is a 4 seat MAXIMUM?) jerseys when the team is doing good cost about $160 bucks, more if you want some player's name on it. so to watch a canucks game in vancouver here is the cost of your night: Tickets lower bowl medium seats: 150 a seat (but your taking your wife who you love) $300 parking: (generally its $5-8 canucks games parking is $25-30. $25 gas: you dont live downtown because your not extremely wealthy or want to live in a shoebox $20 your wife wants a jersey with her favorite player you agree because you want sex later $210 you get hungry during the second period you get yourself and the wife a hot dog $15 your wife is tired from work and wants to have a few beers $7.5 x 3 each $45 total: $615 for 1 REGULAR season game. $600 would be playoff ticket price. IF you loved your team enough to pay that much to watch 1 game wouldn't you be pissed when they lose? Rioting is pretty shitty and it made us look bad, however most people were pissed off they keep getting gauged by our team that never wins. BUT the people who got gauged were NOT the people rioting.
  15. for $3000 you can buy a nicely built stroker motor. i remember when I blew up my rm250 I was young and got the dealer discount. Guy quoted me $2500 i needed a new rod and a new piston with some gaskets. Got a friend to do the work cost $250. Good'ol Canadian dealership prices.
  16. seriously? this has been beaten to death in several threads. use the search function. i dont even run an airfilter just causes me to lose power.

I highly doubt its your jetting. your picture of the plug isnt the best but it looks lean. if your bike seems to run without bogging and sputtering your bike with those mods should be running train all over that yfz. its even more unusual that his bike 5 speed catches up to your 6 speed. my stock banshee used to lose bad against my friends yfz but at 6th gear pinned was when the banshee catches up due to the extra gear. your beating him off the line but he catches up to you, tells me its most likely a gearing issue or your bike just doesn't have the power it should. my stock banshee wit toomy t5s and k&n used to be neck and neck with my friends piped yfz. and iv ridden a banshee with fatty's they are no joke. have you checked your electrical system? also do you loose coolent at all? iv lost power with a blown cdi box once, and an oring went on my cool head and lost some power that way. however the cdi problem will make it hard to start and the coolent one well your bike will blow eventually. check your stator also could have a weak spark.
  18. i don't think raptor or yfz rear shocks fit on the banshee. Actually the only thing iv seen people put back there is an R6 shock. why do you want to lift your back end? how much do you want to lift it by? its not going to increase your ground Clearance why not just have your stock shock setup to be stiffer?
  19. this oil is crap compared to interceptor. I have started my bike after 3-4 months with interceptor and no excessive smoke. My bike runs clean cold or warm on this crap it was smoking like a chimney for 5-6 minutes. I like interceptor much better. I cant comment on the preformance side of things because i havent cracked open my engine. but I know with my interceptor everything is super clean after a ton of use.
  20. i usually run AMSOIL Interceptor in my bike. but I ran Maxima Castor 927 at the dunes because it seemed good. well my bike ran great at the dunes and there was no smoke. its smokeless blend so that's normal. well iv been home for about 3 weeks and started up my bike for the first time today and it smoked up a storm. never has my bike smoked this much. does this oil go bad? it ran perfectly on the dunes.

  22. how many people saw this on the news? I happened to be downtown vancouver at the time and I can honestly say it was very interesting. I think for every 100 people actually rioting there was 1000 spectators. very few people were rioting A TON of people were watching.

  24. i run a +8 on my stock cyl 4mill and I love it. I can wheelie up any hill and with a little effort I can wheely in flat areas. I thought it would be too long but I can get all my power to the ground on big hill climbs and that was not even close to being possible with the stock swinger.
