  1. thats what ive been looking around for.... where do i get a soft seat?
  2. no filters will blow ur motor so fast! id rise the clip and turn the air screws out some.that will help alot
  3. i have upgraded to works suspension already
  4. i have done a lot of custom work to my banshee my self, i have made it very personalized and now im asking the big question......... wht mods can i do to help me in my GNCC races? i dont want to change my gearing. what mods can i do to improve it for this style of racing?
  5. definitly, the best situation is to clean out your carb bowls and rise the clips up one notch and see how it runs, if its better but still not as hard running as the cheap oil, id go one more notch. but probabily dont want to jump 2 notches at first, it could lean it way out and blow up
  6. im not a banshee pro, but i can tell you that i run klotz oil 32:1 and i have no problems, very good oil. runs about 11-13$ in PA atleast. what you could do is rise your clip up a notch on your needle. should help.
  7. i did some looking around at other peoples banshees and decided im gonna paint my +2+1 a arms yellow and my swingarm yellow and do my frame the exact color of my grey plastic. my dad owns the machine shop and has a powder coat booth so i can take as long as i want lol. worked around that shop for years
  8. lol its like a really dark grey from walmart..... only the best for my shee LMAO i cant get pics up for some reason..
  9. i have a 1998 yamaha banshee and when i got it it had the a arms yellow and the frame the origional silver color. i didnt like that so when i had it all apart i threw a quick coat of spray paint on it to see what color i want to get done, its a dark charcoal grey and i cant decide between that and yellow? ill upload a pic in a sec
  10. very good advice. thanks. with all my mods, do you think its a good idea to run 15/40 gearing?
  11. lol well it started at 700. i bid 800. then two idots took it up to 1100 so my last bid was 1200 and they sold for 2500$ it was the +2+1 a arms with a roller frame and a g force axle and +12 swinger.
  12. 98 octane with a 32:1 ratio using klotz racing oil
  13. i have changed my gearing to 15/42. rips hard and i can hit 6th gear easier. i tookl it on the trails this morning when i got off work and it was a beast. im gonna stay with that gearing, im picking up a new high output coil just because i want it to have a better spark, had a bidding war this morning on a set of +2 +1 A arms but let them go, figured id better get some riders opinions before i spend 2,500$ i need to update my signature lol
  14. i would get an adjustable timing plate and set it to a negitive number to slow it down... cheap as 100$
  15. if any of you are familiar with NW PA. the trails turn into dirt roads and fields, my dirt road is strait for almost a mile. me and my friends are always doin little drags here.
