hey purp, If you came on this site, saw the something million posts and HONESTLY thought you were the first person to think your banshee can do 100 mph you deserve the answers you got. This is one of the easiest sites to search, unless your searching under 3 letters. But still spend 5 minutes of your useless time looking at the amount of information people have posted trying to demonstrate why it's not practical to hit 100mph. I say useless time, because judging by the way you spell, and your grammar, your time isn't worth that much.

you guys have no idea how serious some 250r owners are. there are tons of 250rs out there that have been kept like rare sports cars with the nubs still on the original tires. Funny thing is a stock 89 banshee clean as a whistle original top end is almost worthless were as a stock 89 250r in mint shape original top end is worth more then heavily modified bikes. I have seen more then a couple mint 250r go for $6000+. stock 250r plastic in mint condition is worth over a $1000. its a different story when new stuff doesn't exist anymore and good clean stuff is hard to find.

I thought this short card was awesome, better then a lot of full cards. Guida's fight was awesome even though he lost I love his fights. Jr looked more confident in the fight even though he said he was scared of cain. I was going for jr I was pretty happy with the result. I like lesner I would like to see jds and brock go at it. hopefully brock wins in december.

how dare you promote a non sponsor product. In my opinion the only companies that exist are sponsors everyone else are just scammers. Ok I know I haven't been here that long, and I don't contribute a great deal of information but this site is soooo heavily biased towards sponsors sometimes its hard to read threads. I know sponsors do good work and can be trusted because they are sponsors but common there are other people who work on bikes in the world. so many guys who have had one motor ported in their whole life and never ridden any competitors motor who will argue such and such is the best just to get there thread count up so they can look cool in front of loco.

I can't afford to buy this but I would love to see pictures of it. it just sounds so cool.

I don't know I'm not a scientist. I just summed up some shit about dunes moving away that I read from my textbook.

well boys I have to take a lab science elective in school to graduate and I took this geography class about rocks and shit. anyway I found out why atvs are bad for the dunes I don't know if this is why they want to close them down but its interesting enough. over time rain water and the sand kind of mix and make the top layer of a dune hard so that the sand can't fly away. plants and shit also hold the sand in place so that it doesn't float away. riding our bikes on the dunes keeps the dune sand soft and kills plants in the areas we ride on. so now that the sand is soft when the wind blows fast enough and it does by the water, it takes the sand with it into the forests and shit around it. so eventually the dunes will get smaller and smaller. (I am not a geography major, I could be completely wrong but I am reading this out of a textbook.) I love the dunes and I am heavily against closures, but I think its interesting to see the other sides point of view.

i have a tusk clutch with hd springs, 4mill stroker +4timing, 34mm carbs, agressive port job, 100octane fuel + some other stuff. and my clutch has held up very well.

I had a stock swingarm on my bike and I wasn't able to launch it for shit. when I got my +8 on there I'm 2 lengths ahead of my buddies' yfzs right out of the hole.

rider ability advantage would go to me, but not by a lot. my port job is an aggressive trail port, but i wanted more then that so I would say its like a mid-range dune port kind of deal. it pulls super hard. the stock trans deal kinda threw me off as well. we wont be able to line up until like may, its about to get really rainy and cold here.

a friend of mine just bought himself a full trinity setup, he knows nothing about the motor just that its suppose to have 115 horse. hes got a PV top end lockout clutch with stock trans, trinity pipes, carbs (doesnt know the size). vforce 3s, pods. hes got a +4 swinger, weighs about 65lbs more then me, everything came in a box from trinity so tuning is done by them. i got a stock cyl 4mill ported by hjr i got 180psi compression 19mm domes vforce 3s +5mm timing 34mm pjs w pods toomey T5s pretty well tuned runs like a champ. the biggest factor is I have a +8 swingarm I don't think ill win the race but I'd like to be close. with a +8 swinger I can still wheely on the launch, I think with a +4 and that much power he is going to have a tough time getting going. what do you guys think how far ahead of me is he going to be?

its kind of ridiculous considering some of the dune towns are so shitty that if tourists didn't come riding there half the town wouldn't exist. Considering half your country is starving why take away jobs that are provided by tourists. We go about twice a year and we easily leave 5-10k per trip there (big group). but then again when was the last time you saw somebody clearly going against the rules? (I do almost every time).

if you need, 4 quads on a trailer a 12x8 flatbed will do the job. that should hold a sxs and 2 banshees as well. edit: it will do the job for 4 stock banshees. any wider or longer you will have to go 8.5x 13 or 14 depending on bike length.

maybe it uses a carrier from a different bike? try the common ones like a honda 250r or something. I donno just suggestion.

it depends how he calculated it and how much work he did himself. I have a friend with 12k into his bike and its not as nice as that one. is it worth 8k? i think thats a good starting point probably 7000ish would be more realistic no real details are given so I cant say for sure.

I had some wierd guy come to my house and ask me if I was a bike mechanic and what kind of bikes I have. Needless to say I went to the store that day and bought a few new locks. I hope your buddy gets his stuff back, or at least some sort of insurance money.

oh then why not just give baldwin a call and get some PEPs on order. common man think logically here guy wants to ride the track once in a while not become doug gust. If hes riding a stock banshee I could give him any random shock and he would think its gold stock is garbage. hes not gonna be able to find shit that is set up him for mx on a BANSHEE for a decent price. If somebody has a set of stock yfz shocks that have been re-valved for a novice MX rider that is going to much better then a set of used steelers. regardless the guy that started this thread hasn't replied and hasn't given us shit for information. no point in arguing.

I was watching your videos a few days ago there pretty cool, some of the comments on your videos describe you as some sort of animal that never slows down Congratulations on the win.

i can vouch for yfz front shocks with +2 arms. yfz shocks are pretty decent for cheap, and if your smart you can get yfz shocks that are customized and worked on for like $300 that will make it ride really well. Iv seen some stock yfz dual rate conversions valved and in good shape go for 300-400. thats pretty damn good considering its very difficult to find used banshee shocks that can be used for MX under $500. I got PEPs on my 250r and I love them but they weren't cheap.

I have a well built honda 250r and I am sore the day after I ride and I ride the track at least once a week. I would say to get some a arms and some shocks and see how you feel. almost anything will be much better then stock.
