Hilti sucks!, just my IMO, we are their vendor, we do tons of labels and printing for them. and i can honoestly say i hate everyone that works there. they want you to keep 100,000 dollars in inventory, pre printed up and ready to ship to them over night but they dont want to pay for it. then they change designs or change color of red's in their logo and expect you to throw away 100k worth of stock just because they want too...every employees the same, cant say iv met a vendor who acually likes the company. plus alot of there tool just have their red plastic, they buy all their paint equipment from wagner spray tech and relabel it. most there drills to. bastards.... rant off i baught a 40 dollar impact from lowes, just the lowes brand, iv never had a nut it couldnt spin off.. and never noticed a difference when spinning a nut or lug nut on even after trying to tighten it with a big 1/2" wratchet. just my experiance...

my buddy had a bike he just baught, he was told it had just been rebuilt. so during the winter we too everything apart to get the frame powdercoated and took the head off and found the piston all beat up..turned out to be a wrist pin. weisco

make sure there gas in both carbs also, maybe 1 carb isnt filling up the bowl with gas, drain a little out the bottom screw hole.

stop riding with 4 strokes across glamis? id try like northerntool.com or harborfreight.com and see what they sell maybe they make low profile ones, iv seen some in cabelas for 4x4 atv that are real flat, maybe you could wratchet strap one to the bike and sit on a portion of it or something...

id say theres 3 good builders and all 3 post on bansheehq fast, passions racing, herrjugs i observed alot of strictly drag banshees go to passions and milder banshees go to fast and herr but there all great builders so you cant go wrong.

1.72 here, suckas!, oklahoma always has the lowest prices on gas...mean i can go to little sahara alot more next spring if the conditions keep up...

bigger carbs and porting do that to the bike, go to some 28 carbs and get a timing plate, maybe drop a tooth on the rear and front sprocket for quick fixes.

local auto parts store, their pretty cheap, maybe 25 bucks well worth it. see if you have a friend or family member who has one, make sure you have good compression. if you dont the bike wont sound or run right

whens the last time you did a rebuild? are you making good compression out of both sides?

you have a lower elevation, and a general colder condition of air which means you get alot more air then we do with hotter air which means you should be richer then most everyone here in general. with that info hell id even be running 320s, your pretty damn lean no ifs ans or buts.... also id mix gas at 32:1 which means your be getting more oil, less gas which will help keep the motor cooler then id go to the guy who said anything bigger then a 240 would flood it and id punch him square in his fucking face for wasting your money on a rebuild you wouldnt have had to do.

you sound lean to me, i had a similar set up at one time with no port job and i was running 290's. even your ported you might consider even bumping up to 320's

Yeah, just let me know when and where and im down. i ride app when i get a chance. if i feel like short rides i ride on the arkansa river about a mile from my house in bixby. theres usually about 10-15 acreas of land to ride on if the keystone dam isnt letting water out.

haha, we were going over the whoops heading back into camp and his son was riding and i was halling balls over the whoops in 3rd gear at WOT and i turned around and no one was behind me so i was like damnit i thought someone wrecked and was hurt or something so i halled balls back the other way and i see metric man riding his sons banshee with no right rear wheel, i think he said the carter pin broke or sheered off and the axle nut backed its way off. was funny as hell looking, very impressed with his side saddle riding too, didnt drop the right size axle on the ground once... except for when we entered the last set of whoops at the mouth of south camp where that bowl is at, it was like watching him slowly get sucked into the bowl lol, he kept trying to get it out and went around the circle once or twice and finally just winched it out.
