i have head lights and bumpers, bumper id take 40 for, and the headlight id like 10each heres a picture of both

see i was thinking like my axle, if i spend alot of time polishing it it with a buffer wheel and get a real nice shine on it, i dont think it will get that hot. so thought maybe putting a nice even layer of clear coat on it would help hold the shine, although things like sand and sticks would hit it, maybe just keeping it polished is the easiest way to go
-
be more specific, is the whole vertical or horizontal, the vertical whole should be where the stator plug comes out of, the one that lays flat under the choke carb is just a drain whole for water and dirt to pass.
-
whats the best way to keep the shine on alumnium or just metal after giving it a nice bright polish? could you just use some clear coat spray paint?
-
custom grilles for vinyl stickers?

sell the front two bolts from the gas tank with the sleeves?

any word on the part number for that bearing motorbuilder?

what part of japan you in? my buddy just got deployed over there like a week or two ago.

this thread pisses me off only for the fact that i ordered some AC pro pegs blackline series last week, their schedualed for delievery wednesday and on saturday i decided to take my bike apart to powdercoat the frame to match them and i cant use them when they first arrive! lol..

for the price the atc is a good camera, but the video to me seems a little dull in color & Auto steady seems weak, from a scale from 1-10 id give it a 6-7, for about 100 more bucks, you can get the GoHero Pro, the colors and the sounds seem brighter, you can use a larger SD card aswell and the built in Auto steady seems to work pretty darn good, so id give those about an 8-9 plus their half the size of the atc's which may be why they seem steadier.

i found this post of yours but it was for carrier bearings, not swing arm pivot bearings "Ok here you go. The bearing number is 6007-2RJS that is a good number at napa and the seal number is 16898 that number is good at napa also o the seal number is a c/r number if they ask you. "
-
yeah i saw those and the ones on ebay for like 40 bucks i just want the needle bearings for like 10 bucks...=\

Getting ready to powdercoat my frame and noticed when i was taking my bike apart, im missing both front gas tank bolts and the metal sleeves that go around it. please let me know if you have some to ship and how much id like them fairly quickly if possible.

Ok, so im getting my swing arm and frame powdercoated semi gloss black anyways i was ganna throw some fresh needle bearings in it so i started trying to pound the bearings out and just the inside and bearings came off leaving the outside peice. ive tried for like 2 hours now to get that damn outer peice out, its not pressed in is it?how the hell am i supposed to get that out now? also is there anywhere else i can just buy the bearings by them self's like an auto shop, im not familiar at all with finding bearings?

im running, 20cc domes, +4 timing and 93 octane with no problems at all, passion port, i rebuilt my motor about 7-10 hours ago, im blowing like 135 psi, but its stonger then hell when im ripping down the dunes...
-
I've pulled over 8 flywheels including mine twice with the same puller...dont know what the deal is for you guys that sucks if it strips...
-
my 02' when i got it ported i talked to my builder and he said i was still well with-in spec for my pistons, so we just put a fresh hone on it and new rings, and slapped it back together, havent had a problem since...been running on it now for 6 or 7 months
-
+4 timing is safe for pump gas in general 93 octane +6 could cause pinging, due to the piston being to far down before the spark ignites, in which case i believe you'd need to buy a higher octane fuel like 101 or 110 octane to combat the advanced timing. also since the higher octane gas will be baught you could probably bump down to 19-17cc domes and raise your compression levels. -4 could cause some backfiring sputtering in general weaker power since the piston will be on its way down already when the engine fire's in that cylender, iv heard rumors about someones timing being so negative the motor acually ran backwards instead of forwords.

i was out there the 2 and 3rd of january. the night was freezing, but the day time was warm. there were quite a few people out there, north camp is closed till spring. besides the weather being only 40 degrees and needing to rejet the bike for it everything was awsome.

you'll gain a noticeable difference in your bottom end, after putting mine on it would gain speed quicker & pull harder. from what i understand though youll lose a little top end but i havent noticed that. id say next to pipes and re-jetting this will be your biggest bang for your buck.

i have a proflow adapter and 3 K&N's id like go if santa sent me 30$ might even have a whole airbox for 10$shipped... i ship ups, so no po box's..

its the same degree of work, i mean really, youre talking about 15 minutes to complete the entire job. if i was really competative i could probably get it done in 6-7 minutes. plus timing keys have been known to be "weaker" weather they are or arent i dont know but iv never heard good things and i dont believe in using a thinner key then stock specially with all the rotating force there is on the crank shaft. to me your just asking for something to mess up. yes a key is cheaper then a plate. but you get what you pay for. with the key you may always be at +4, but say you do stuff to your bike, you cant adjust you key, what if i want to go to +6 with higher compression domes? i dont want to have to buy another product to do this. so in all, you be the judge, there the same amount of work weather its a key or a timing plate.
-
sounds good, let me know how you want to do this, i prefer not to ship first due to getting screwed on fleabay, ill clean the K&Ns with the K&N wash before shipping, youll need to lightly oil them, and probably throw the outerwear in the washing machine.
-
well i have 3 K&N filters for a stock air box with a proflow adapter plate what i need is a stock brake light for an 02 and up banshee and if you could throw in some stock footpegs and heel plastics id be greatfull.

no doubt, im sure they have good customer service, i know they make their salesman go through a shitload of training. just to be a salesman, i just hate how they treat vendors, cause they know they got you by the balls. im sure every large companys like that, but i dont have to deal with them lol.
