  1. i just recently dropped mine, when i had a 14 i didnt have a problem starting from second on a race on dry dirt, i could drop the clutch and go no hestiation. but when i was in the sand, if i didnt ride it exactly right it would bog if i slightly let up off full throttle or my nose would come up to high. now im on a 13 and i can feather the gas with no bogs and i can keep the nose a couple inchs off the ground untill i hit gears and start shift fast. havent tried it in the sand yet though. plus i ride with alot of 4 strokes, so i figured the higher rpm's in the low sprocket will help me ride with them
  2. dude, your next door neighbor? got punch him in the nuts for being a douche bag. sounds like he forgot to cut the to little round mounts off that the airbox slides on, they'll do that if dont cut them off... also zach, if he doesnt have compression his bike will never run right. he'll never get it kicked started. even with clean carbs...=\
  3. dibs on the pipes i got cash in hand, can you send me better pictures let me know the exact condition of them. i needem cause i just sold my pipes and dont have any.
  4. there all new and out of my price range..
  5. just like any car, all you need is compression, air, fuel, spark. without compression it wont run and 90 is the minimum PSI you should run it at or else you risk more damage and more costly repair. if you putting out 80 and 85 you have at the very minimum a top end rebuild. youll need a bore and a hone, and new pistons & rings to match. youll probably spend somewhere in the range of 2-350 fixing the motor just to get the compression up to snuff. contact a reputable builder, three on the board i can think of, jeff, jim, kevin - fast-passions-herjuggs all great builders with the best prices around. they wont lie to you.
  6. you dont have enough compression to run the motor. sorry Rollins advice is alright but wrong, you dont need half that shit, you can download a clymers online for free, you dont really have to have the sync tool, unless you're wanting the exact thing. dont remove the airbox unless you plan to always ride in a nice dry area with no mud or water. dont need a carb rebuild kit, just take the carbs off and clean them real good with the mentioned carb spray. while rhollin does have some good general advice like a fresh set of plugs inline fuel filters are shit, and will clogg easy which when your on a good long run will tend to starve the carbs for fuel if not changed regularly. and will cause a lean condition. tors removal is optional but generally a great idea when you get time and money to do it. list the mods you have list the elevation you live list the type of riding you want to do list the current jets main and idle and needle position - someone will tell you if it need changed for your mods. and you'll recieve the answers you need

    ASV LEVERS

well i emailed them 4 times once per day and never recieved a comment back and then called twice and never got any information from the calls so i left a nuertal comment after 2 weeks, i finally got my parts so then the owner calls and starts bitching about this and that and how i got a good deal, so they banned my ebay name from purchasing stuff from them without telling me, which is fine cause i had another one which i ordered my levers from. but still kinda sad what they do instead of just saying sorry we fucked up they get all pissy and ban you so you cant leave negative feedback. if you ever look at this feedback look at the nuetrals or the negatives and theres always a rebuttle like they have to have the last word.
  14. t6's pipes off my bike, there in great shape, the normal wear and tear like a little blueing about 3-4 inches down from the cylinders. the chrome is in good shape, no flakes & NO DINGS! truely the only thing wrong with these is i left a bolt loose holding them in the back which caused 1 side of 1 tab to break, but its tac welded back and it didnt discolor the tab at all heres a picture its hard to even see it. this does come with both the stringers as well. they are in perfect condition as well and are just as bright as the chrome! im located in bixby, oklahoma 74008 350 shipped w/ insurance

so all you guys are the ass hats i have to keep snipe biddying aginst.... just messing, but seriously though, communicate on if you guys are bidding on something, asv owner puts a set of theres out every week, you'd get them cheaper if you didnt bid the auction up 3 days before it ends...
  17. theres a sticky at the top of the page, read it....be done...
  18. suckas!, glad we got our spot reserved lol. just kidding, hope to see you all out there during snake hunt but right now as of march we'll be riding out there on friday the 13th of march...w00t two weeks!
  19. go to ebay, and buy one, probably quicker plus a cover is only 28 bucks shipped, where i got my black on black one, had my wife help me put it on with a stapler and hair dryer looks awsome too, tight no wrinkles at all...easy as pie.
  20. powdercoating is always always always always better then painting in every single aspect. unless theres plastic or rubber that cant be taken off of the metal your powdercoating then you have no other option then to find a shop that has the equipment not to melt the rubber/plastic or just paint it.
  21. then your an idiot.....stop asking so many damn questions if you never take anyones advice. stop refering to your mechanic because hes an idiot too....Sale your banshee since you cant work on it without everyones help and by a 4 stroke so theres not a need to tune it. stop giving other people advice on how to jet and work on their bikes when you dont even know how too. it really is as simple as that man. Im sure your a good guy. also this is funny, seriously http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting
  22. no it will be an absolute horrible investment and waste of time. reasons for me IMO why would anyone buy a new stock banshee for over 5k. there relatively slow, the first thing everyone does is say more power so they mod them. so why pay 5k for new when you can pay 2k for used with generally alot better parts and better running bike in general? will it be worth more in 10 years? im ganna say no because every year of banshee is just damn near identical and its been that way since 89 with very few changes other then going from J-arm to A-arm, maybe it'd be worth money if they changed between years and added something significantly better and diffrent for only say 1 year them went back to the way they've been selling them. is there a sucker born every minute....yes...
  23. generally speaking if you have an 02 banshee and it will only pull start and run fine after its pulled, and wont kick start id say you have low compression, its time for a rebuild. if its all original that motor is 7 years old on stock crank and stock pistons w/ rings, its probably over due for a rebuild. buy a compression guage from your local auto part store, hook it up and kick it over till your foot is kinda tired and the needle stops moving and tell us what PSI you have. do this first since all you have to remove is your spark plug.
