  1. just got my juggs back from getting ported at passions, and im putting everything together i checked both cylinders both sides and im coming up with an average of .047 - .048 depending on how i press on my digital calipers. does this sound about right for squish on 20cc dones?
  2. uhh...well as a good rule of thumb dont run with your bike at wide open throttle for longer then 40-50 seconds or youll blow your top end pretty easy, 60 mph is enough to kill you as well. to help you out read as many threads on this forum as you possibly can. then use the search function for questions. then youll look back at this post and think..."damn i sure was a no0b back then. what the hell was i thinking?"

  5. i might be going if jim from passions racing gets done porting(i kinda gave them to him late) my juggs and i have enough time to break it in and run right after re-jetting and syncing.
  6. haha, apparently youv never been to the dueces wild, while you dont have to worry about park rangers, buggyprincess (waynoka.com) will probably slaughter you if you get out of control at her camp grounds. they make a point on waynoka.com to state the dont put up with rowdyness people at their camp grounds. also for sandfest id get there on thursday if you wanted a halfway decent spot. fridays the left overs and saturdays sleeping wherever someone will let you park also you get that nut replaced yet? :biggrin:

  12. mine did something similar, but it was my fault, i over oiled my filters so it wasnt letting enough air in. which could also result in a filter being to dirty

  16. pretty low psi, only way to tell is to take the motor out or atleast take the head off and the juggs off and pistons off and take them to a guy who knows what hes doing and knows about specs and see if the juggs are within spec of just putting fresh rings on. but probably ganna need a new set of pistons rings and bore and hone job. probably looking somewhere around 500-700 bucks depending on what else you buy.

  19. exactly, no compression, 100psi minimum to run decent. thats why you never mess with jetting untill you rule out compression and clean filters first. your first step needs to be take the motor out and take it to a builder or build it your self if your mechanically inclined. if not take it to a builder and he will tell you everything you need.

  21. from point a to point b or untill its empty...whats it matter? there 100 factors to how far or how long you can go, riding at full throttle for half and hour or half throttle or what? dont be vague on your question, give examples of your style of riding what kind of riding your doing. then you might get someone to answer you

  23. check compression and let us know how many psi its putting out.
  24. always always always start with a compression check, if you dont have the compression, its going to run like shit no matter what jets you put in it. you need atleast 100 psi to run worth a damn, if you dont have that, send the motor to a builder. once you know you have the compression, then check jetting but dont waste your time on jetting if you dont know if you have compression. once that checked, and you still feel its jetting pull out a carb, make sure its clean, make sure jets are clean, make sure both carbs are synced together, make sure you have the tube between the 2 carbs installed, make sure theres no tears in your boots. then look at correcting which jet to buy.
