  2. did that once before in my garage, right after the rebuild, just pulled the bottom of the carb off and cleaned it and made sure the float levels were where they needed to be and put it back on and never had a problem with it once...
  3. just 4 more hours of work and im fricken out of this place!!!
  4. i would think it is, you may try changing to a thinner base gasket and if that doesnt help, may need to have the domes cut.
  5. lol it happens....i was looking at the second video and started wondering cause it took that guy alot longer to get up that hillshoot then it should have and then i saw them and it all made sense!
  6. beat me to it...damnit...
  7. haha, i know what you mean. my boss is in colorado right now on an elk hunt, been there for 2 weeks so my wife and I are doing double the work load and it feel like every customer whos came into the door is being a needy pain in the ass. hell iv even thought about saying screw it and leaving on thursday night instead of friday morning just cause i dont want to be around town...lol...
  8. i just got my motors back together and done with break in and im running .047 and it runs like a raped ape
  9. what spurdy said, anyways i have the same ones, ITP C Series rims on my sand star set of tires., it should just take a 14mm socket, my stocker rims have washers on them and i cant fit the washers in the cavern of the ITP-C rims but its all good. I went to lowes and baught 16 new nuts in 8mmx1.25 in stainless and they look good on there.
  10. give us a list of all your mods, what compression you have, your elevation. pretty much everything you know to be true. also go here http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=99361 find someone with a similar set up as you and set your jetting up like theirs.
  11. dont most paddle tires have arrows that point the direction they need to rotate? lol, no worries something happens to all of us at one time or another..
  12. dude, i hope you realize you have your paddle tires on backwards on your video atleast thats what it looks like on your video and in your picture on myspace. try turning them around youll be able to pop a wheelie better...
  13. just let them hang, there not connected to any "ground" so thus they wont shock, hell i even sometimes just put it over the top of the nut on my cool head, whatever you do it doesnt matter, theres a compression chart around here somewhere but stock motor should be like 125psi or something
  14. like a raped ape my man, raped ape...probably another 30 minutes of run time on the motor and ill be done with break in and then ill really go beat the snaught out of it...always starts on 1 kick cold or hot & pulls the wheels up in every gear so far aslong as i have traction. my compression still seems low at 130psi but jim said it would read low due to the port and exhaust port being raised but it turns rpms alot higher and faster soo...plus i guess the rings havent fully seated yet so i could see the psi go up after i get back from LS
  15. man i feel pathetic, its still 3 days away and iv had my tahoe half way packed up waiting to go since sunday. go figure ill probably still forget something like the ice chest or clothes..=\
  16. ha!, when i got my juggs back from passions he said he'd see that all the time people putting the pistons on backwards...
  17. what sin said. also a wild guess but if your carbs are leaking gas threw that overflow tubes. id take a stab and say your floats inside the carbs arent adjusted right or rising to stop the fuel flow from shutting off.
  18. i missed something i believe whats wrong with the add?
  19. check the flywheel timing gap. .018-.020 anything more then that and you get weak spark or no spark, the 4 things you need to run good. air - check to see nothing obstructing airways into the motor fuel - check carbs to see if they have fuel by draining some out the bottom psi - do a compression check to see if you have a minimum of 100 psi spark - have a buddy kick it over and see if your getting spark. if you got those 4 things it should be running, check timing gap if no spark or make sure all your wires are connected right and not all rusted up. use fresh spark plugs.
  20. more then likely ill be on the south side too.... ill probably be camping somewhere around the trees by the lsps building on this picture in south camp
  21. nothing a pill of amodiam AD wont take care of before you eat. and maybe a little pepto bismol afterwards..., i enjoyed it last time i was there...was pretty good....and atleast they have clean flushy's....
  22. im planning on leaving my house in bixby around 10 or 11 in the morning, that should get me there around 2-3 on friday. need to meet up some time saturday around 6:30 for a bhq photo, and do a kick ass night ride or something. or meet up at 5:00 at have a big dinner at the mexican restraunt they have in town you can ride too... ps. stickers are done =]
  23. sounds good, i think ill try to find a spot on your picture by the trees, that looked like a better spot, with some privacy and hopefully away from the wind!...
  24. dunno yet, havent much though about it...probably somewhere in south gate next to the dunes on the west side, unless someone wants to split a spot with water and power in lsps section...
  25. yeah, i plan on making about 50 in black and white since those color go with most things, probably of just the arial black font slightly forword one.
