Been dont many times, ours is a ZX9R and its set up for dunes. Didn't take too long to do but i suggest do you suspension mods first, that way you can line up the chain and shit. Our motor sits a litttle to low and as the suspension moves it lets the chain so slack that it skips teeth on the rear. The tank is under the seat. It is make of about 1/3 of a steel jerry can. Like i said this has been dont a lot and would be SICK on the streets just get its low but not too low for the weight, throw a sway bar on it and some short shocks and it should be nice I honestly for the streets wouldn't even extend the swinger. Being low should keep it on the ground

I would like a better stator too, but am not spending that much cash on all this junk out there. Im going to take one of my OEM ones and buy me a spool of magnet wire and do it my damn self. If i successfully get a good HO stator ill post a how-to. If i dont, ill just float my stock stators ground an convert to DC, just use it as charging circuit, doesn't really need much output to keep a little 12V battery powered up.

I don't have a pancake bearing, dont have a lockout either, after burning up the clutch i now smothere the ball, rod, and pin in synthetic bearing and axle greese. Havent burnt up another one (knock on wood),

buy one of those intercoolers that clip on the back. We had our nearly new Elite do it once. It has always been standing up. The cooler keeps it soooo much cooler its a little loud but its the only way to make up for microsofts lack of cooling power.

If you rode it with no oil your 2nd is not your only problem see if the very first big gear spins freely on the input shaft. its the first gear from the clutch. Those lock up and weld to the shaft if there is no oil.
