  1. what ratio are you mixing your oil? its two stoke thats what they do its bad put some new o-rings in the pipe flange
  2. nothing drag racing and if you dont need a stock tank then delete that out of what you want. how much do you want for it?
  3. 5-gallon desert tank? does it leak? and ill trade you a stock tank
  4. take a piece of solder ( like for plumbing) and bend it into the cylinder through the spark plug hole, and make sure you put it up against the cylinder wall above the wrist pin. and turn the motor until its SQUISHes the solder. pull it back out and measure ho thick the squished solder is.
  5. what kind of gearing are you with the 1-5 running. i like running 6th at the dunes and in the desert some times, so do you miss having a 6th or did you just put a 15tooth up front?

  7. if youve been through the carbs that many times id have to say its an electrical problem not a fuel problem. another suggestion would be put a fuel filter on it. just to keep them clean.
  8. then its your cable. and its not jsut a lever its a whole perch. i have my banshee with 3 barnet HD springs and the VHD (haha) springs i dont know where they came from, they were in it, and it was a BITCH with my old perch, bought an easy pull and it feels stock. Also got a new clutch cable mine was streched.
  9. does yours have a digital Odometer? if so turn the key on and off three times and it will display the codes on the odometer.
  10. to be honest, i dont see how you wrecked, ive been in some sticky situations before with a twist throttle, i even ride a lot holding on with one hand. and i know a guy who rides like a manic, only has one arm. what were you doing in 6th when it broke?
  11. i usually get new gasket if its ripped. and the outer basket isnt bad its the inner hub that i would replace.
  12. jumps or not they should bend LONG before they break.
  13. yeah the shift shaft is the thing that goes all the way through and shifter goes on it. and the pancake bearing goes where the ball is.
  14. yeah thats the shift shaft. see the little flathead, thats and elptical adjustment, if you turn it you can see the little rachet for the shift star should be equal between top and bottom pin in neutral. it probably wouldnt go in neutral because of some piece of somthing jamming it the grooves in the basket arent too bad, ive had much worse. BUT the inner basket looks toast. it shouldnt have grooves in it. ive had the basket do it bad but never the inside basket. FAST the clutch and the pancake bearing
  15. ID be on the phone with TAG. have you rolled it before with those bars on it? and sry for the banshee may it R.I.Pieces
  16. that is deffinatly the problem. get you a clutch. and if the ball comes out and itsnt attached to the rod your good. FAST has a decvent priced clutch kit. and you should get a pancake bearing while your at it.
  17. if its rural then probably not. so just call the dealer and tell them you need a PCM and give them the numbers off of yours and see if its cali or federal i believe its the last two letters, but find out and start calling salvage yards and tell them EVERYTHING about your truck and then cali of federal numbers and then get one should be around 100 bucks. and your mileage wont change thats a different computer. I suggest do it now before the truck wont run anymore
  18. yep its either welded or you just wore it down a lot. the banshee don't have a lot of play on the pressure plate. mine did the same thing the other day. clutch was fried. and i got a used clutch and it still slipped bad. so abbot told me a trick. put in an extra steel right next to another one and it will let your springs hold better.
  19. beware. pcm from dealr is fucking rediculas. lik 700 + labor and programming. get the numbers off of yours see if its california or federal emmisions and start calling salvage yards untill you find one that matches. the dealers will tell you this wont work blah blah blah just do it. do you have to pass smog where you are?
  20. alan just do it we have that 250 shock BUT they are going to bee way too weak for that much force.
  21. yeah thats an amplink i have one. i dont have to worry about that stupid slider on the swinger.
  22. i just used an industrial strength hand buffer wheel and some mothers stage 2 carnuba wax.
