  1. Read the sticky's in the jetting and exhaust forum. All of them.
  2. Banshee's drink A LOT of gas, they are twin two strokes, You need to buy a clymers manual... The carb slides are supposed to slide at the same time, use the adjusters on top of the carbs to adjust them...there are two screws on the side if you have a TORS eliminator kit, the big one is for idle, the little one should be about 1 and 1/2 turns out from being all the way in, its the pilot screw.
  3. yeah it sounds like you have a wire or cap problem, if its not getting enough spark to one side it will have weak spark load up and foul the plug. when you switch them it clears up the plug that was bad, and fouls the other. You can change the caps, or just buy a good used coil with caps on fleabay.

  5. All i run is the big Tear Drop slider on the swing arm. As long as the chain is adjusted properly i haven't found a need for em.
  6. IF i ever met a woman that stupid, she would have to look like megan fox for me to even CONSIDER a long term relationship, OR stick a "gag" in her mount. I can only imagine what the news headline would have said if she died from heat stroke.
  7. i had a big post of crap for you. But i decided i dont care. it looks half way decent in pictures. but from trying to sell a bike for 7k is better be show quality or massifly built. and judging by the rush paint job we can only hope that the rest of the work isnt halfass...hard to see shotty welds in a picture on the computer. Any ways, you immediatly get offensive when someone calls out you paint job. that shows no integrity on your part. whos going to give someone like that 7k. one more question for you, did you use a flex and binding agent in the paint on the plastics. or is the whole bike actually rattle can from vatozone?

  9. OR, if you are good with at soldering you can go out to a salvage yard and get a few GOOD weather pack connectors and solider new wiring on them and heat shrink them sealed.. It would be a lot better then the old 80's toyota plugs. That way you can leave out all the tors junk and even leave insome spare wires for if you ever want to go 12 volt or run a brake light or somthing

  11. Its a bad connection or broken solider. my laptop has a bunch of them. Are you sure its plamsa ive never seen a plasma do it only LCD...

We did a zx9 in a shee (see sig) but it is probably the largest least effecient motor out there... the gsxr 600 porbably makes 15hp less...and weighs MUCH less... its fun as hell... can ride all day long on very little gas...and yeah 100+mph through a bowl will DEFFINALTY get your blood pumping
  13. No what he needs is a pep-boys special, Kazuma, one on my friends got one for his little cousins... we (as in 200lb adults) rode the piss out of it for no reason other then bordem... rode it all day...then we realized we didnt check the oil, it had MAYBE half a pint of oil Probably even less.
  14. all the trail bikes ive ever ridden, i wouldnt put a twist throttle on. That said, i dont ride tight trails im a duner. Going through the whoops i like my twist throttle cause as im flying through way too fast and letting the ass end ride it like a dirt bike and kicking the front up and down i can controll the throttle fine and actually it kinda gooses itself in a helpful way. I like that too.

  16. Congratulations you have just purchased a 4mil stroker.... if you want to run pump gas i believe you need 20cc domes (not a stroker guy so im not sure), and only +4 timing.... but if that's too much trouble ill be happy to trade motors with you
  17. assuming that its for race fuel only, you have a cylinder head with interchangable dome, and/or timing set at more then 4* the timing is thte plate. as for the dome, you need to drain you coolant and pull the head off to see what domes you have, or you can just check the compression and let us know what it is, some people sel their bikes as race bikes on race gas only, and its really not even necessary..... So check your compression, and timing and let us know what they are set at. the timing mark is where the cases go together and let us know what the timing is set at on the plate.

  19. two strokes being turbo charged is VERY picky from an engineering and fluid dynamics stand point, there is NO way it could be consistent, basically all you are doing is upping the pressure of the ENTIRE system, there is nothing to keep the air being forced in from flowing right back out, and the air being forced through will keep the fuel and air mixture from re entering the cylinders... It just isn't practical, yes the will run but the will need a totally different tune for a slight change in temperature and pressure...even being flow through and a fully pressurized system things get complicated when you add boost.. Fuel injection would help with that BUT it would take thousands in electronics and months of tuning to even get close to all of the tables to make it run right. the ONLY two stroke set up that would work being turbo is the two stroke diesel. it has exhaust valves. It HAS to have the supercharger to move the exhaust and a turbo just ups the pressure.

Yep the two strokes are the LEAST effectnt motor you can buy, add having basically two of them at once and we are screwed, Rage's bike is a freak and is the most effeciect banshee ive ever seen, mine has DMCs, 34PJ and a clean up port, and its gets about 30 miles before i switch to resivoir. and thats not hard thats cruising in 6th about 1/3rd throttle at WOT 6th it if i held it long enough i could only imagine its would go through a whole tank in like 6-10 miles

This is the reason i favor our conversion... ride half the day HARD on like 2.5 gallons, we are going to be doing another one soon, its getting an f4i motor. and it will fit under the stock tank and everything. 99 hp to the wheels and only like 20 lbs heaver then a banshee motor... and i might even turbo it thus netting me about 200 by the time im done.

Yeah i have advise, save your money from the stealership, buy a clymers manual. it sounds like an electrical problem.. what i would do is start unpluging every plug and cleaning it... then the clymers will tell you what the stator should ohm out at. If you still cant get it, but a stator and cdi off someone one here or ebay
