  1. LOL i see one issue with society, SOMEONE SOMEWHERE will believe this is a valid argument, and try and justify it to what little friends they have.
  2. once again, another thread of rockstar theme banshee, and then theres the monster theme banshee threads also. IMO they are both WAY overdone and i would just try to do a color scheme that you like but not something EVERYONE else has
  3. theres only one problem with just plugging them off, looks like somebody cut it apart so they could change the chain without pulling it, LAZY! so they are pointless because i PROMISE its not sealed worth a damn any how. Get a good cover, yamaha knew what they were doing (kinda), because its GOING to get wet inside with it like that
  4. i did a conversion with a heavy ass zx900r motor in a shee frame with a +6 swing arm and the tank under the rear seat also, we used an air shock off of a kawasaki kz600 and its fully adjustable with how much air is how stiff you want it and it also has a rebound adjustment, just a thought for ya
  5. check the radiator also, i had a 97 also that would do the same thing, pump was fine, jetted perfect, turns out the radiator was plugged more than anything on the bike which caused it to overheat
  6. rebuilding a 4 stroke dirtbike = WTF BS

  7. check the coil first, i had the main wire come loose on the coil the orange one on my 97 and it caused it to be hard to start, run like shit, no power and shoot flames backfire, sputter and pop like crazy
  8. The 6.0 Only has problems if its not taken care of, OR if a tuner is installed and used HARD without other mods. We own one, we also have a tuner and i haven't done any other mods (mainly im too lazy to out head studs in), but it doesn't get driven like a sports car. Ours has 160k on it and there is nothing wrong with it at the moment, we got it with a dieing FICM ($1200), (previous owner let the batteries die) I love the interior of our 05, NICE leather and all that other good stuff, get one and take care of it, change the oil and ALWAYS use a fuel and oil addative, never let the batteries run low, if they do fully charge them before running the truck, drive it hard every now and again (to clean out the shit in the EGR and turbo). Despite all the taboo of the 6.0 I say go for it, just don't buy one with problems. because injectors are 1500+ a FICM is 1200+ head gaskets A FUCKING LOT+
  9. Whenever somthing like this happens, the first thing i do is clean the carbs. In your case the carb, try new plugs also, dont just clean them sometimes that doesn't work.
  10. ive been saying shit like that long before i stated palying COD. Being from Temecula you should be just about as tired of them as i am. But i live in the mexican part of town....summerlin, spring valley, green valley, etc...too expensive and far from base.
  11. if nothing is major messed up you can clean the case half really well with de-greaser then dawn and JB weld it, clean it up then take it to a machine shop and have em weld it up. either way works, but JB weld is cheaper.
  12. whats cheaper, a border patrol agents salary, loss of a border patrol agent, or 2k miles of claymores, land mines, trip wires, razor wire, and the occasional AC130 flyby?
  13. Just add some to your gas, . it'll keep things lubricated.

Since we no longer have natural selection, I'm all for open season!
  15. I'm not trying to start and argument by any-means. And as far as the weight id say your pretty close on 130ish since the 600rr and f4i are pretty close to the same. and the zx9 id say easily close to 200lbs it took two people to lift it. VERY HEAVY. And as most of these conversions get started, i got the motor and harness free, and the frame was a blown up banshee of CL (read CHEAP). we have NO WHERE near 1200 bucks into this whole build, as for the time it would take me this long to get a 4 mil together because i wouldn't buy all the parts at once, im too cheap for that i wait for good deals. And i wont need an override and a lockout (yet ). The banshee was actually my first choice, mostly because of how cheap they can be had, but i also like the look of them better then a craptor. The f4i is in the frame all i need to do is button up the fuel tank im building and a few little things. But its extended 4" and even with a stock shock its doesn't squat much lower then an assembled banshee. So a properly valved shock is on the list in the back but the front is fine (for now)
  16. Its all in a matter of how its built. I don't find factoring in labor as much of a downside. I enjoy what it do, its easy for me to do it. It's not like I'm paying somebody to do the conversion for me. If i had to pay somebody to do it then i would definitely go with a banshee motor. Its not all about being fast for me, that think is a absolute blast to ride around the dunes, and i can ride all day on less then 5 gallons of gas. How many 4mil 100hp bikes can do that? Yes there is a a very noticeable difference in the motors, the zx9 has separate cases, bigger transmission, clutch BUT and the cylinder and head are separate. The f4i the cylinders are cast into the top case half, but the f4i makes about the same hp as the zx9, just a little less tq. I don't see how a 40lb difference is a far cry, so what your saying is, that if i ride my banshee (160lbs) and i let my fatter friend (210ish) that the banshee become un-duneable? Its no different then setting up the suspension for the weight of a really fat guy.
  17. The converison in my sig has a zx9 motor in it, i know its not the fastest, but i promise you we spent A LOT less in that bike then what it would cost to have a banshee as fast. It a BIG HEAVY motor but none the less its fast, and its semi dunable. I'm building another one witha F4i motor in it and everyone who complains about the weight just doesnt take into account that with a smaller motor like that, its not THAT much heavier. Its no different then putting a fat guy on a 4mil. The f4i fits in good and it doesnt sit that much lower then the frame rail (except the header) which im going to move outside of the frame eventually. I intend on it being fully duneable, and it will be because its NOT THAT HEAVY. and again its cost almost nothing. You couldnt buy a 4mil topend for what we have into this bike. then you need a lockup, and probably an override, carbs, etc... Its not always about being the fastest, its about budget mindedness and being unique. Ill get some pictures of the f4i conversion when i get a chance.
  18. video has been removed
  19. do some research my friend..there have been plenty of people banned from here for screwing people over or even being a complete jackass..so before you run your jabberjaw do some lookin
  20. No offense to anyone who wants to do this, but WHY? There are SOOO many used sets of pipes everywhere. Chances are that once your done you aren't going have them refinished or anything so why not find a nasty set of straight T-5's?
  21. You think thats fun, mine stuck WOT while i was crusing whoops, in 5th...so i just kept going untill i got to the end of the whoops then hit the kill swtich, thats one thing i do. I will not ride unless i know my kill switch works.
  22. Well technically all 6 yes SIX are in my dads name BUT im the one who had to keep six banshees running and moving.
