  1. was it fine before the TORS removal? you might have left somthing pluged in or unplugged. but another possibilty is if it runs flawless below half then a main jet coming loos will do the same thing.
  2. well you know they have bulbs at walmart with the glass on the front of the bulb they are like 5buck each.
  3. well see thers the thing, the +7 timing should feel like a 4 poke on bottom, with stock motor. but that with 35's on a stock moto makes no sence what so ever. the big carbs will KILL your bottom, soo if you are looking for some more bottom get some smaller carbs and get a timing plate . what kind of ridint are you going to be doing mostly.
  4. you might try a slightly higher wattage bulb, but they wont be as bright till its revved up but wider take them and spin both out a little so it looks like its got two lazy eyes
  5. well it depends on how low you in the RPM you are when you hammer it, its NOT a 4 poke it will not pull slowly till its gets up into the RPM range it will just flood the cylinders, foul plugs, and glaze the cylinders. how does it run from putting about half throttle to mashing it? does it seeam really boggy or is it fine?
  6. you deffinatly need higher octane for 7degrees and that is way overkill. get a plate and set it for 4 for premium pump gas and higher if you want,
  7. well the only thing the long rods do is reduce the force the piston put on the cylinder walls, thuse encresaing engine life and reducing friction, a little bit of power. some people run it whenever they can, and some say its useless with stock stroke, but if you like the porting you have, thenthe stock stroke and rods will be fine.
  8. well the stator and lights are supposed to do that. and the cdi has different coils, for that, if could be the pickup gap, dirty pickup, or low compression, having to pullstart is is either a sing of that or bad stator. but could also be plugged pilot jets. id clean the carbs first, and check the pickup and coil for rust and debries.

  12. just a little boost? whats that thing put down? have you ran it at a track yet? there was this guy out here with a duramax 55lbs running 11.3 i forget the MPH but he beat a cammed, heads, nitrous LS2 GTO
  13. i have 34 PJs with 160s and im ported and mines fine, but hard to tell but do the cylinders feel really smooth like glass? cause they looks a little glazed from the pics like i said hard to tell from a pic. but while you have it apart, id hone it a little and re-ring it. smooth(glazed )cylinders dont hold oil, and its cheap insurance, so you know that didnt cause the problems if you have any in the future.

  16. loose the boost bottle. and get you a few larger size mains, and as ist gets colder put in the biggest that runs right.
  17. if you are talking about the grab bar get a BFH and a piece of wood.
  18. you dont have a timing problem you have a jetting problem if its running eh not revving out can mean way rich or way lean. and chaning the timing helps because you have to change jetting some with the chang in a timing plate anyhow.
  19. yeah that'll do it too, but a filter that bad would be noticable in every gear.
  20. i have the 916's on one bike, and they have more topend then the T-5's on another bike with the exact same mods. and the 916's powerband comes on smoother. and starts a little lower, it still not a bottom end pipe but i like them A LOT more then the T-5's
  21. the aliens and 916 are the same pipe, but the silencer is different. the 916 is the two into one, they will run the same they just sound different.

  23. because the +4 gives a BIG boost on the low end power. my brothers iwht Fattys and +4 even with stock compression has almost 4pokish tq on the bottom its sweet. Get used to messing with jetting we went riding today, early in the moringin like 58 degrees bikes ran somewhat lean, BUT by the afternoon they were almost rich. 88 degrees. I HATE the desert.
  24. the steep gearing of 6th would be where wrong mains would show theri ugly face. and get some good reeds, and up top a motor will just about run without reeds at WFO.
  25. to give numbers and emails in a pubilc forum we usually put a in the email or substitute @ for at like this blahblah @ blah.com, blahblah-at-blah.com and numbres either type it out or mixe it up. five 5 five- 1 two 3 four this way bots that look for them dont getm them.
