  1. I bought them, thats just the spark arrestor. it should just come off and have the regular cap under it (i hope) if not ill just buy/make a normal cap.

I got loaded up yesterday fought through the NASCAR traffic to get to my riding area, rode for like 2 miles back to the dunes, roost one hill and coming back down i thought i threw a chain off because it wouldn't move it wasn't the chain (i wish it was). so i waited for my friend to go get the tow strap and pull me back. the clutch engagement if fine, im pretty sure that the gear and basket sheared the riviots holding them together i got 20 min of riding including warm up. But i went back got my dad bike and rode it all day with no problems. we rode probably a 25 Mile loop just cruising in 6th and only used half a take with sever runs against his YFZ. and won of course
  3. it doesnt look like it will work because look at the top mount..then the angle of the rezzie..looks like it would hit the swinger

  5. why do you have to be crazy to run these pipes? even if they have less power then my T-5's i like the powerband better. From my SOTP dyno they come on smoother/sooner and run higher then my T-5's
  6. this would be a royal PITA to calculate BUT when i get home and have them time to do it i will if you have 50Lb ft of tq i could tell you how much you are making at the output shaft. the has to do with the ration but not at 4:1 thats where rpm and HP comes from. you have 50 lbft at a wheel with a 10"radius which and tq = F*Distance do 50/(10/12)= 60lbs of force on the axle and then you need the radius of both sprockets. you could calculate it all the way back to the crank if you know all the gear sizes its a long process. but usually about 5-10% loss is my guess we use 20% drivetrain loss in cars
  7. Thats way too big. and with a 4mil you would be much better off with a pair of smaller carbs.
  8. my dads bike does the same thing. ive replaced crank seal. head gasket and head (had extras) and it still does it . its not the crank seal. ill have to tear down the carbs later. but it runs fine and amazingly both plugs are identical. So i just ride it and it runs great too just smokes a lot when mashed.
  9. for the front? depends if you try to turn on asphault it will break with no problems if its purly off road and will never see a lot of traction go for it then when it breaks buy a real locker

  11. as long as you keep an eye on the fuel filter and make sure its not clogged your fine...i run inline fuel fliters on ALL 5 of my banshee and have yet to have a problem...but i guess its personal preference???

  15. not ATM but i should this weekend. Its kinda hard to video myself and jump, and i dont trust any random person here to do it for me, with my camera. they really arent far jumps here but they are pretty harsh on suspension when you land from that high on relativly flat ground. i can hang with my YFZ 450 friends with. i just hurts a lil more and the suspension bottoms out a lil, OK.. A LOT more.
  16. Ive got a +4 leager and jump the shit out of it. im talking shit a stock banshee shouldnt do, and its holdingup fine
  17. It usualy mushrooms both ends thats why you need to pull and break ball off the rod and pull th rod out the other side of the input shaft.
  18. Ive got two bikes both stock and the toomeys and DMCs make the same power, id almost say the DMC's make more, BUT theydo com on sooner and smoother, also they rev higher too.

  20. speaking of. i got a few pissy neighbors who complained when i was tunning my bike in my back yard, we have like3/4 of an acre of horse property. but if a ricer flys down the road and makes all kinda noise no one complains because its a car. FUCK THE STUPID PEOPLE!!!

Its not hard. you just pull the fabric off. cut a chunk of foam out just smaller then the screen and then put fabric/leather back on and cut an X in it then plug it in and push it in and they want 900 for that? each!!! crazy. just run all the wires down the inside of the back of the seat and into where the headrest goes into the seat. really not difficult.
