  1. You can send it to a reputable builder and they can check it out for you each builder does something different as far as porting.
  2. I wouldn't trust the athena cyls. Vitos cylinders are quite a bit lower port timing than cubs and imo they need work to correct some flaws. They have triple exh porting but they sell the same cylinder as a stock stroke or a 4 mil.Same one for a 7 or a 10 mil. That's good in ways cuz you'll have lower port timing with a 54mm stroke and slightly higher port timing with a 4 mil. A stock or P.D. head will work on vitos cyls from what I understand don't know about athenas. For a trailbike or duner I'd stick with stock cyls they can be very strong. Years ago everybody got cyls trail ported and wanted torque now its all drag.

  4. Ya DDA needles is what we used. I have an extra set I was gonna use before switching over to meth.I think most people could tune for it but I would recommend big bowls if you are gonna go wide open throttle for more that 300ft. I'm gonna try tuning the 90cc dragbike on it soon.
  5. Correction we used DDA needles in 35mm pwks those are really odd needles so the mainjet was close to the same as gas in the 155-165 range with those needles.
  6. You luckily have one of the best E85 tuners close to you. Kevin Gigot of Gigot Performance Engineering in garden city has done a lot of testing with E85. He has done both 2 and 4 strokes, turbos etc. Give him a call he even has a dyno. That was good info about starting at 40%. It should be close to 35 to 40. With those carbs I'd try like a EEG needle and you may have to run about the second leanest clip. You can't run real rich like methanol at all so you'll need to tune it well like gas. It does run a little cooler and allow more comp or timing and you'll gain just a bit but for $1.70 a gal its good. The biggest problem with it is in the winter it can be as much as 30% gas or E70 so you'll have to retune. If its tuned on E70 the winter version then the 85% summer stuff will be very lean. Hope this helps.
  7. Yes that's too high. Shoot for something like 165-175 psi for a gas motor. Some go a little higher but IMO they work well with 170 psi.

  11. I don't like denniskirk cuz they are way expensive on wheels tires etc , I buy stuff like kids dirtbike chains and some real small jets I can't get locally. I have always had good luck with them but I like rmatv or others better. U can't get everything from the site sponsors cuz they don't have it.

  13. This is only your second post and you are selling something with no location and no pics. That's a big red flag since often we are dealing with ripoff artists. IMO stolen bikes pictures aren't posted because the thief doesn't want anyone to see it and recognize it, they just say "I can email you pics." I'm not sayin u are a bad guy but you need to read the rules before you post. Go to photobucket and put your pics on there.
  14. Those modquad axles on atvdragracers.com are $423 shipped that's hard to beat for brand new modquads. I love mine and got it in about 4 days.
  15. A 7mill on alky with 8 paddles and a 10 over swingarm will pull almost any gear you want. 14/41 is stock and should pull fine. That's fairly close to a 16/46???? Somethings wrong.
  16. Mikebell has a sickazz TURBO 525XC on E85 that makes 101hp at 15psi. His 600 is a runner too but I'm 6'2" and I can't stand the low bars on them, I also think the footbrake is too far to the left.
  17. I wouldn't hone it unless you have a diamond hone. I've had real good luck with Andy at M&M he has been real helpful and is near coffeyville. He's real good on little stuff all the way up to big motors.
  18. 225 those would help yer bike quite a bit over stock carbs imo. I like the 3dmm keihins I had with my bike when I had T5s it was a fun bike.

  21. I'd maybe be interested in trading you my 40HV lectrons setup on alky by Nate Mccoy with new cable adjusters etc if you wanted to add some $ to the deal. They have pump seats in them for 1/8 or 1/4 mile racing but can be switched out for gravity. I like the pump myself. Mine are perfect just wanting to go to bored PWKs on alky to gain a couple more hp.
  22. You can get a good harley shop to shorten that cable up and solder a new end on it. I get em done for about $10
  23. Most of them are good. If you want an aluminum one the pbi sprockets are tought to beat, otherwise for just a steel one Vitos, M&M atv and FAST have a few different brands each.
